Nothing fancy, just a flexible part time job. Worked there while studying, was given less workload as I was still studying. Work tends to get a little boring sometimes however.

Being bully, no justice, terrible experience

What is the best part of working at the company?Not best part. Some store do not allow staff to ve break time , want us to eat in the store at the same time service the customer otherwise give 30 min break not follow MOM standard. The worst thing is promise you to work part time after they found new full time staff for the sick to compromise the new staff from resign , the employer can reduce the part time working days just to fix in the new staff requested. The employer also did not issue appointment letter for the part timer staff ( work more than 7 months) who request for the appointment letter a few time.Besides that the store supervisor who have unclean hand, who make mistake by did not scan the cigarette properly then wanted the staff to pay for the cigarette by touching the counter machine when the staff out for break. No justice being show by the boss when matter is bring out. I have very bad experience while working there for your information. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?One person to do everything like cashier, serving customer, check stock arrival quatity, clear the float,check stock expiry, housekeeping , close account etc.After work everyday still have company quiz to do.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?No fix environment because they will post you to many store where staff is needed.What is a typical day like for you at the company?No fix day also. They will plan the weekly schedule which subject for changes.

Stressful place to work in without teamwork

Working there was nice in the beginning but tedious after that. When you have to accommodate the ideas of part timers unable to replenish the stocks because they are old, because they are busy. Come on, which shift is not busy? Morning shift have to deal with paper work and morning crowd, afternoon shift have to deal with incoming of stocks and customers. Night shift have to clear whatever balance stocks the 2 shift left and replenish everything in the store as well as cleaning the store. If there is 1 shift that is not helping, the next shift will suffer. My advise will be if you wish to join, join as part timer. Salary is lower, but you do not need to work 6 days, 7 days or even entire month without having an offday just because there is not enough staffs and you are full timer.

A non work life balance company.

A non work life balance company, with endless of double / triple shift to cover for staff. You have to work like a franchisee as if the store belong to you, in the end you are not even praise by your DM at all. Especially Lot of bootlicker in the company.

No life company

First of all, tons of problem with the LPPL protocol that hq has set, 2ndly have a no work life balance at all. On the webs saying 8hrs shift which they doesn't tell you if one of your staff is down with mc/on leave you have to cover the whole shift which is another 8hrs shift. The most funniest part is you are told not to clock in and out when you work double shift, they claim that MOM will check them up. ( you call me to work, but I cannot have a proper clock in and out what kind of nonsense this company have ?) Hope MOM really have a check it out. Watch out as lot of foreign talent with only a skill name boot tick. Take leave but store no one manage end up = burn as they claim you are the sm of the store. ( so what the point of giving leave entitlement whereby hq did not give store enough staff to work and made us couldn't use our leave entitlement.)

Really Overwork

I really will not recommend anyone to work at this company. Basically, my manager will keep on doing things slowly. Keep on treating her part-timer to do hard labor. Shifting the things here and there, Just cannot make up her mind where to put the merchandise. The thing here I referring to is not a few bottles of drinks but is at least a few cartons of drinks. Luckily I left the job already.

Successful and fun
