Sales Associate (Part-time) (Current Employee) - Singapore - December 20, 2022
Workplace can be fun when u meet the right people that is able to work & joke at the same time. I don't see managers helping staff with the stocks when they claimed to be "One Team."

A biased company. Should have known from the start
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) - Vivocity - December 3, 2022
To begin with, the place is really toxic that is filled with bias of management that are only one sided. Will only be nice to you when are “sociable”. For recognition its only on those that are “friendly” to higher ups then u will be rewarded and smoothly “pushed” to the top. Its not a good company to work in SG. Especially the management level and higher ups. Should have known from the start.
Pros
Only when u are nice then u will be treated well
Cons
Super duper long hours. Heartless

was a meh workplace
Retail Associate (Former Employee) - Singapore - June 16, 2022
the people i met there were pretty awesome. one of my biggest annoyances was the lack of communication between the management and its employees. i also hated the barrier between the managers and the normal staff. the managers expect us to be nice and welcome them but they dont even reciprocate and acknowledge us back. for the amount of stress (mainly emotional tbh) you go through as an employee here, the pay is pretty bad. really managed to survive there because of the amazing people and coworkers ive met.

it is quite stressful and busy during holiday seasons such as christmas or end of year... the pressure is definitely there and you are told to not slack EVER
Pros
the pay is okay for a student like me
Cons
long hours, busy, need to be quick

Productive and Fun environment
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - IMM, Singapore - February 11, 2020
A typical day at work would need you to clock in and report to senior staff and they would brief you on what I need to complete for the day. Given two to three co-workers (sometimes more, depending on the day's work) to help with the tasks. Workplace culture is respectful to their peers, fun and productive each day. The hardest part of the job is handling the sale period, more stocks would drive in extra hours of work in stocking and presenting the apparels. The most enjoyable part of the work is, on an everyday basis everyone looks forward to having a good attitude towards the customers and co-workers that helps to set a favourable working environment.

Fun workplace
Retail Associate (Former Employee) - Orchard - November 3, 2019
It allows the employees to learn how to handle customers. The team at the outlet that you're working at is a very important factor to decide if your workplace is fun or otherwise.

Exciting and Health Lifestyle building workplace
Warehouse Associate, Operations (Current Employee) - Singapore - July 22, 2018
I am currently privileged to work with Adidas.
The brand and all it stands for (healthy sporty lifestyle, work life balance, sustainability, environment responsibility, brand leadership, collaboration) is really evident in the work place and I would be honoured to work for them as long as I could.
From an operations to an executive role, Adidas truly provides an opportunity for employees to grow within the Company and invests greatly in human resources in terms of training, exposure to different roles or even markets.
It truly feels gratifying that at the end of everyday, one feels very proud in his or her contribution however big or small his or her role is having to witness the impact that can be seen in society, which is why I will always wear the brand with pride.
Pros
builds human resources, promotes healthy and balanced lifestyle, at the forefront of brand leadership, contributes to social awareness and environment sustainability

Retail Assistant (Former Employee) - Jurong - June 30, 2017

So even if we are tired and things , having our full time around to joke and teach us , makes me even more keen to learn as they know when to joke and when not to , and be serious. and our regular customers's conversations , it's so nice to have them treating us like friends, because they trust us.
Pros

SEA Brand Communications Internship (Former Employee) - Singapore - September 21, 2016
I highly do no think that reviews that are publicised are suitable and applicable for this purpose on job portals, and this section should not be an obligation for candidates to fill up.

Fun environment with the lots of knowledge learnt
Part Time Retail Assistant (Former Employee) - Novena - June 23, 2016
Working as a part time retail associate can be challenging, as the team has to take my studies schedule into consideration when planning for the work schedule on the following month. However, the team were very kind and always accommodated to my request.
Lots of knowledge gained while working in Adidas as well, knowing what is good and useful for the right circumstances, and understanding the different technologies incorporated in the sports equipment and apparels.
Pros
Easy going bunch of colleagues and helpful store managers
Cons
pay could be a little higher
