Good Salary
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedLong hours, no life balance, but good salary and is always on time. OT is a choice but is a must. Either you choose money or choose time. Must endure 12hrs

One of the worst companies you can possibly work for
Auxiliary Police Officer (Former Employee) - Woodlands - May 10, 2023
Typical day of an APO is reporting for work around 1/2 hour before your 12 hours shift starts to draw arms. End of shift, wait 1/2 to 1 hour to return arms as there're tons of others returning too. So you'll spend 13.5-14h daily on work though officially it's 12h. This leaves you with at most 11h(if im being very generous of arms drawing and returning being 1h only). Take the 'monthly basic salary' divide by total hours worked that month, and you'll find it's below or at most on par with average part time per hour jobs. Not a negative person but left Aetos for more than 5 years and everytime I think about them, much more negatives than positives come to my mind. I'll spend many more years telling people about the truth of the company. I'd rather be unemployed than join Aetos.

Work Life Balance
Auxiliary Police Officer (Former Employee) - Woodlands - May 11, 2022
Most of your time will be at work rather than be with your family, Management most of the time doesn't care about you until you made a mistake then they will mark you. A lot of politics with the higher ups.
Pros
Salary, Benefit, Great colleague
Cons
Long Hours, bad management

Management
Auxiliary Police Officer (Former Employee) - Woodlands - March 26, 2020
The system made by the management was not favourable by most men on ground. Forced OT was implemented. Hard core politic games on the ground. Insufficient breaks and so much rules to abide.

AUXILIARY POLICE OFFICER (Former Employee) - Woodlands - December 17, 2019
Work varies on where they assign you. Some places may be quiet, whilst other places need you to be on your feet 24/7. Long hours (more than 12), 6-day work week, night shifts till the next morning.

OK place to work
Auxiliary Police Officer (Former Employee) - Woodland checkpoint - December 13, 2017
Overall it's a OK kind of place to work. Everything's fine if u can commit long hours work load such as 24hour duty then it will be a fun environment to work at. Other then that it's just OK. Not the best place to work but you can earn all the money you want.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Long Long hours

Management wasn't that bad.
I do enjoy my job as I gained a lot of different experience.
