The most useful review selected by IndeedGreat benefits and compensation relative to others in the healthcare sector - hybrid work, good pay, 20 days annual leave that increases with time spent at the company. Colleagues are also fun and most are nice to get along with. Problems are with management that has mostly outdated mindsets. Many silos in the organisation coupled with directors/senior management who seem to enjoy these walls dividing the organisation. Senior management also don't get along. Work can be tedious and mundane at times. The CEO is trying his best but much of the day to day work are still being done by the various divisions.

Great colleagues

Great colleagues and environment. Very fun workplaceeeee. But slow/little progression. Not recommended if you do not like mundane and repetitive stuff.

Friendly workplace

Very nice CEO but the the middle management has significant room for improvement. Efforts to enhance work life harmony weren’t enforced by reporting officers who aren’t every qualified. Who are unsecured and just arrow down to the staff for follow up. Extremely political. A very toxic environment. Only for the ultra strong heart.

Fast Paced, both corporate and front-line

fulfilling work but the work/family life balance is very poor.

The management is in a mess. The high management organisation chart can change every quarter. Only change is constant.
The nature of the job is very satisfying. Because the impact is great for the patient the project can benefit.

Manage bosses and work

It can be tough to manage systems like Procurement, and need to manage bosses and work at the same time. While I enjoy the meaning and nature of the work, it really depends on the boss and your team.

Terrible place to be at

Way too much politics to handle. Poor compensation for young hires and workload is insane. No learning opportunities whatsoever and it really is a dead end career.

Job orientation- reading slides

Each newbie was to go through the thousand slides and have an understanding of the works done in the division.
The challenge is to be able to nail down your immediate supervisor for some brief discussion. The ability to set up your own shop must be good. It would be easier if the chiefs touch-base with each other on the needs.
Most enjoyable is a Wed where staff is surprised with a fruit of the week.

Toxic culture. Double standard and favouritism is common. It feels like a stage full of actors. There are people you can NEVER say no to even though you are told to do SOP or be fair. Bosses don’t practice what they preach. Staff who do what they are told to do are the best, those with ideas will end up losing their passion and start to shut up. The politics are as exciting as palace drama.
Then again, money is ok, you can leave on time. If you aspire to change the world, don’t bother.

A workplace with great potential

It is a dynamic organization with strong company culture. It is great to work of colleague who all shares the same vision that is to enable the elderly to age gracefully.
The organization provides lots of training opportunities and is supportive of learning culture.
As it is a fast growing organization, change is constant and staff have to adapt to the change quickly.

Generally a good place to work in

Overall, AIC, is a good place to work in. People who likes dynamic work environment will enjoy the pace there as change is almost a constant there.
In terms of staff benefits, AIC has flexible benefits.
