Work under pressure
Account Management Executive (Period (Former Employee) - Shenton Way - July 4, 2020
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedMust be able to work under pressure with short deadline. Alot of manual systems and too many updates on it.
Hopefully they are able to invest One system that has at least 70% information of a client. Rather then goes to multiple systems to run through.

Confused Management leads to confused workplace
Doesnt Matter (Current Employee) - Singapore - February 23, 2020
It used to be fun to work, but off late due to constant restructuring and internal politics within our division, the work comes second, saving each others jobs comes first. This is purely what is happening at my division. I am hoping its not the same in other departments.

Singaporeans great people, English Regional Head of HR lacking
Regional Manager (Former Employee) - Singapore - February 7, 2020
If the Head of HR, English lady was a little supportive, it would have been a brilliant role, as the businesses bought in, which is never easy, and the role was gaining momentum across APJ. The HR team lacked maturity, and thought leadership, more an ostrich when it came to resolution with HQ and Chicago. I would recommend working for AON, but not with HR as a partner unless the lady has left.
No issues with local Singaporeans, great folks as always, I just wish the Regional Head HR had done what she was being paid to do, instead of number crunching, and making herself out to be an ostrich.
Singapore leadership, brilliant, however HQ in Chicago, a little backward, fair bit of politic, and many shake-ups.
I would not recommend working here, the attrition rate is too high, with little care for consequence on families, and zero support, after the event.

Overall the culture is okay depending on which department you are working in and need lots of patience and must have a positive mindset.
Executive (Current Employee) - Singapore - February 6, 2020
Flexible hours and got to work independently.
Face paced environment and had to have a positive attitude.
Able to take tasks given with a tight deadline.
Workplace culture is fun and sometimes could be stressful with tasks given in a short period of time.
The hardest part of being a broker consultants is/are requires you to work late sometimes. Involving with lots of events over the weekend for campaigns.

Jobs at Aon
It is a great place to work, slightly more relaxed than most companies around that area.
Final Year Project Collaboration (Current Employee) - Singapore - January 5, 2017
It is a place of independent working. However, the people there are very helpful and responsive to your questions. However the place gets really quiet at times, which makes the atmosphere pretty intensive.
Pros
Free soft drinks and biscuits.
Cons
Tense atmosphere.

Interesting and Fun
Temporary Receptionist (Former Employee) - singapore - October 25, 2014
I deal with high volumes of calls, guests and assists other staff. As i was recruited by a recruitment agency, i do not have to communicate with the management people, the co workers are helpful and willing to teach new things. The hardest part of the job is the busy Monday and Friday, the most enjoyable part of the job is working in as part of the team.
Pros
Fun and engaging environment
Cons
Rush hours traffic
