A typical day will start off with users handing in RFQs, PRQs or inventory withdrawals averaging about 15-30.
I have learn to be very independent and fast working in this kind of environment. Co-workers are very helpful. We help each other out a lot. The hardest part of the job would be sourcing, although you do learn new things when you tend to source for items which you have

absolute no idea about.

The most enjoyable part of the job would be learning new things. As i work closely with 4 different departments, i learnt a lots. Users from various department guided me and answered my queries in relation to the works.

Working with the company allowed me to learn what it takes to manage a big scale shopping mall; the importance of fostering positive relationships with prospects, tenants and agents. The management of the company taught me how to be effective in my work and to format reports that are easy to read and use.

a) To assist the Assistant Manager in supervising the daily operational activities.

b) To take charge of Security Access Control System (SACs and VMS)

c) To take charge in managing the logistic in the development related to operational security equipment, specific field equipment and etc.

d) To plan for all CCTV installation so as to ensure that it can have the maximum coverage.

e) To take charge of all upcoming projects involving Security department and to monitor the progress.

f) To source for quotations and put up PRQ for equipment that is needed for daily operations

g) To put up budget transfer paper.

h) To put up requisition form for purchasing of logistic items.

i) To send for repair, replaced any damaged security equipment require by the department and keep a proper record of all the inventories. Records of equipment to be submitted to the Manager.

j) To submit all security-related reports as require by the Manager within the specific time.

k) To assist in putting up budget assumption paper.

l) To put up proposal paper with regards to security contracts.

m) To attend and discuss meetings on events and recommend the desired logistical support e.g. barricades, Q poles, cordoning tapes, traffic wands, signs and etc.

n) Represent the company in the SSWG and attend the monthly meetings.

o) To assist in conducting checks and inspections to prevent security breaches and fire safety violations.

p) To perform any other duties as directed by his Manager.

q) To conduct spot checks on weekends and night hours as and when instructed by the superior.
