Janitor (Former Employee) - Singapore - September 27, 2023

Treated fairly and was given same benefits as any other employee at apple despite being a janitor. was also given 20 days paid leave and a yearly salary of 50k which is above avg for janitors. Though, I had to go through 7 rounds of interview to get the job and a simulated cleaning exam that was done via their new apple pro vision AR headset. besides that there are also 3 layers of assessment to judge how well you know your materials and what you will be using when doing your cleaning routines. i was also asked to share pictures of my house toilet on the basis of if you cant keep your house clean how can you keep a company toilet clean. Too much to go through for such a trivial role but pays significantly higher than any other company for janitor and for 50k a year you cant complain as the job I do understand is one with a significant amount of demand. though, once you get the job this is the best company to work for, cheers!

Flexible working hours and dress code. Staff canteen available but have to be paid for. Only coffee and tea available in the pantry, no snacks provided

flexible working environment and supportive colleagues. work are bearable but some are required more time to finish outside work. overall a good experience for this department
