Progressive and Encouraging environment
Securities Operations Analyst, Middle Office (Former Employee) - Singapore - October 19, 2014
Even with outlined tasks, each work day brings new opportunities to learn and grow. Basic tasks can sometimes be challenging and the more enthusiasm one shows, the more one progresses in their career at Merrill Lynch. I was given the opportunity to manage two key functions of the team despite being a junior level analyst since I showed dedication and the eagerness in my work.
Most enjoyable part is the exposure to different cultures - typical day at work included interactions across the globe from Japan to New York. Hardest part of the job is mobilizing correct resources for urgent submissions, meetings but it gets easier once an effective network is built within the organization.
