Productive and fun workplace, with many opportunities for self learning & development
HR Intern (Former Employee) - Buona Vista - February 11, 2020
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI had a wonderful experience as an HR Intern in BASF Learning & Development team. I was part of the efforts for digitization and automation of learning and development for fellow employees, and specifically had opportunities of managing an HR chatbot implementation project as well as the gamification project. I also learned other skills such as Visuals Basic Editor, amongst other skills but this required personal motivation and learning desire.
A typical day at work involved adapting to new situations and problems daily and fixing them case by case. Management was supportive and kind, which allowed me to make mistakes and learn from them effectively. The hardest part of the job was the relatively fast-paced nature of the job that requires you to think for creative solutions in a timely manner while remaining knowledgable about current trends in the industry.
The most enjoyable part of the job, however, was the level of freedom and space given for self-learning and development, in which I took advantage of to learn new skills and request for more job scope and duties as much as possible.

I was a intern at the functional department (Supply Chain & IT). BASF is a great company with advanced IT infrastructure, but enacting change and performance improvement is difficult due to many layers of reporting.

A productive, collaborative and fun work place
Marketing Intern (Former Employee) - Singapore - October 30, 2018
BASF has an open, inclusive and collaborative working environment where people help out each other making it really fun to work there. You get a great amount of responsibility and can build up responsibilities. Feedback was part of the job which helps one to improve even further. Overall, I was 5 months at the company and thus my experience is based on this time frame. I definitely recommend the company and consider it an attractive employer.

Diversity and inclusion
부장 (Senior Manager) (Current Employee) - Singapore - June 8, 2016
