Job fit with correct attitude

Attitude besides work experience is important. In BlackRock, fitting into the culture will equate to the length of your stay. BLK had flexible time off, mature working environment that you account for your duties, work life balance, there are also many network platforms for your causes and/or passions! Uneven. Good talent often side by side with mediocre middle management

Varies a lot by region and function. There are pockets of excellence. There is a lot of talent across the company at various levels. And there are also parts of the company where too much power is in the hands of middle managers who don't want to or don't know how to direct all this talent.

It is a place of opportunity to learn across function if you are open for learning and taking the challenges since, they have different function who deals with different clients using different tools. Most importantly, the company is very transparent & always promote / develop talent.

No worklife balance

Although the benefits are great, there is no work/life balance..everyone stays beyond working hours and are expected to login for teleconferences at midnight or beyond from home..there's always last minute things to do and the people in my department are not friendly or helpful..the boss is also not approachable.
