Company is good, but as it is not a tech company and that is why it is difficult to retain good talent.Pay is average and does not have any stocks, some part is bonus

Singapore has very less opportunities in Tech

As an Engineer treated really well, if you bring certain skills to the table the pay is great.I work in the Singapore office which has less technical opportunities.

staff are motivated to improve skills, management motivated to keep jobs. effort not recognised. stories and not stories of staff also slacking off but having same level of recognition. great place to retire, or do a bunch of things that may not have real impact.

Loved working there

Working there was a great experience. At the beginning it was a 'ask for forgiveness instead of permission' kind of place. Building up responsibilities were based on executing well. It was a high growth environment. For the last 10 years or so however, it is not a high growth environment. Its still struggling to find its new cadence.

Bloomberg is for people that like to work hard, a roll-up your sleeves, all hands on deck mentality. Bold, innovative ideas are expected and risk taking is encouraged. We are pushed to excel above and beyond "good." Days at the office are hectic and fast-paced yet no matter what group or department you are in, you know you're making a difference -- it's always been a team effort. Customer service resonates throughout the organization from the very top to all workers.

Collaborative work environment

Interesting work environment where most people are helpful and friendly. There are a lot of initiatives for new projects or collaborative events, which is mostly a positive sign until your week is saddled with meetings that can get quite repetitive. Not the most efficient way to keep people informed and get to know one another. Company puts in a lot of effort to keep employees happy. Full-stocked pantry, everyday breakfast and tons of after office events.
