No Job Security/Advancement

Easy-going for workinng envinence and culture.

Working here, you must have enough professional experience and knowledges. This company product is our inspection reports i.e. checking and inspection witness certificate which it's a professional paper describrated with the processional fact together writen and photos. This is not easy. It is a most difficult thing that some of the complaints came from the client to our official management who just only not provided his suppurt to you but also he reproached you when you insisted on as high quality standard for the inspection in site.

Took lot of challenging jobs and all jobs are second party and third party jobs only. I was working with bureau veritas for 4 years plus. Due to less project only inspectors were reduced.

A good place to learn laboratory skills!

A typical day at work starts by running calibration tests on certain equipment using standards provided to make sure they are in order. I learned how to operate certain laboratory equipment, housekeeping and keying in test results. The challenge was getting things done by the deadline, whereas the most enjoyable part was a having helpful colleagues and a healthy working environment.

Friendly working environment, nice supervisors and colleagues. Daily routine: assign tests on samples based on client's protocol. Business depends on season, sometimes might need to work overtime, but paid accordingly.

Singapore BV Daily agenda was set and formatted to suit the project activities. Safety are most priority before starting of the Inspection activities. The management and co-worker are highly knowledgeable. And every obstacle of work solve in between day of work. Its a long hour work but we enjoy every moment of it.

Learnt a lot on multi tasking and working together as a team to ensure that our team did the very best and hit the target on time though the workloads are indescribable. I learnt that working as a team is the key to every success. Good team makes it a fun place to work despite the stress we encounter everyday. Not to forget, keeping the workplace clean and tidy makes it more easier to work. Thats where the 5S and housekeeping needed to be apply.

Here the culture is good. My boss is good mentor. I took a entry level position. He taught me everything in detail. And help me to pickup the skills. I learn about certification. My co-workers are not so good. My co-workers are my hardest part of the job. The most enjoyable part of the job is I had a good opportunity to learn new field and my boss is a good mentor. he always ready to help. and he taught me how to handle situation with customers. overall it was a good experience. Excellence and friendly working environment

I have learn a lot from this project. Independent and determined in every task that was given to me. I had work closely with my project team. Every day we will have team discussion before commence of work. The hardest part of the job was on the communication to the workers. They understand less english and i need to use sign language to make them understand better.

From BVCPS i learned to be patient, some physical and chemical testing knowledge, management skill. All of my colleagues are good, friendly, easy to get along with, I am happy to work with all of them. The hardest part of the customer service in BV was handling the complain, when you are unable to meet the client's requirement, the customer will complain to the top management and we need to search the history and explain from the beginning and the worse part was the claim/recall. While the most enjoyable part of this is when your client called or received an email with only saying thank you for all your effort on helping them to meet their shipment, then my day would be full of joy.
