i had a great work experience and still am in contact with some of my colleagues and bosses and i enjoyed my time there. it was a period of time where income wasn’t important to me and i could afford to work despite the low pay

Working for 24 hours considered too much but they will ask to work 48 hours sometimes

I love my job in Burgerking even if its very hard due to lack of manpower but i enjoyed working everyday. Its just i felt so sad and disappoint coz despite of my hardwork and dedication towards my work i didnt expect that im was one of the employee whom they cancell the spass. Maybe everything has a reason...its hurt but i dont want to hate people instead i learned to accept it. I just hope that after this pandemic the company will give me a chance that i can reapply again and to continue my passion working in bk. I hope and pray that nxt time people will choose properly and think of their decision.

Worst place to work

Management sucks which lead to bias among foreigner and Singaporean. Their offer is regarding whether you are local or foreigner, local tend to get more benefits. Example, local get 1 month bonus and foreigner only get $4o bonus on casual labour. Long working hours, no break, everyday have to work 11 hours plus no overtime pay. When they said about giving additional allowance, only some of the workers have and the others don't. As the management on HR treats everyone different which leads to disappointment on worker. Long working hours lead to exhaust and in the end poor customer satisfaction.

The good things: Meeting overseas colleagues at work. Cleaning the stores with colleagues. Life advice from senior managers and colleagues. Conversing with regular customers. Challenging myself to beat the speed of service target which was 2:45 minutes! Learning about the workload of my managers, assistant managers, restaurant managers as well as business managers. The challenges: During my 2 years in this company, I've only received a salary increment twice. There were no benefits for working with this company. In future, the company should care for their foreign crew. For example, they could take note of the distance that they live from the workplace. The company could give allowance for their gas. The company could also come up with initiatives to make the crew's working environment better. For example, a crew bonding session.
