Productive and fun with team members

Indeed Featured review

BAU operation and checking for the morning. Then automation using VBA macro Management is fantastic as we got weekly basket of fruits to share in the department Workplace culture is to inform and report of activities status and Friday is to dress down(casual wear) Hardest part of job to ensure all automation run smoothly but sometimes cannot as system restart or data is dirty(not required format) thus job failed Enjoyable when an 8 hours job can be finished in 10-15 minutes of 2307 rows of data which involve in grouping on condition, parting and divisible and of the static data understanding to consolidate the data into pptx

Pros

Free lunches and weekly fruits basket

Cons

Long hours as complexed data and structures

Nothing specific

Nothing specific, its a average company with a lesser salary and more expectations. Have a lot of seniors on role and growth factor is very limited and conservative

Good Work Environment

Challenging and fun. New skill learned on a quarterly basis to rotation of roles. Work culture is good Excellent support from colleagues. Hardest part is shifting schedule.

Productive yet depends on the team and individual

Deutsche Bank being huge and process oriented, provides many learning and performance opportunities. The work culture depends on the department and team. There is growth potential, it takes longer period of time to grow up the levels.

Fun place to work with many helpful colleagues

I enjoyed working at Deutsche Bank for many years. Many helpful colleagues and many implementations projects were successfully carried out during my career there. The management is very supportive about life balance and always advised to care good care of ourselves. Throughout the year's many lessons were learned and documented. Sometimes the workload can be very busy during the weekend and you can expect a road-coaster life here. No time for anything...but with good time management, everything is possible...

Matured and balanced work place

The working culture at Deutsche Bank is matured enough and you will not feel the pressure while completing the tasks. Everyone is treated equally and fairly. It is fun to work there, You will find a lot of learning resources at the intranet. HR is very helpful and professional.

Challenging and Productive workplace

You learn something new everyday You are taught to self manage No spoon feeding. Working Culture is good. Have good working relationship and teamwork with colleagues despite coming from different race/ethnicity. Hardest part is the shifting schedule pattern - In my opinion should be done on a month or quarterly basis not bi monthly. The most enjoyable part is working in an environment with having a team that supports you.

Balance and Job Security

Work life balance is amazing. Work culture is good. Some managers were helpful and some were not. Job Security is average at least. The separation of duties are well implemented.

Not stressful

A typical day at work: Same work load every day. What you learned: Need to be patient with both client and non-client inquiries. Management: Easy to work with. Work place culture: Cheerful. The hardest part of the job: None. Can overcome any challenges. The most enjoyable part of the job: Work life balance.

Cons

Outsource contract

interesting and challenging work

Interesting and challenging work. Decent work life balance. Competitive benefits compared to companies/financial institutions in other countries. A typical day is busy. I learned a great deal about how the financial industry works. The hardest part of the job was combating the instincts of the investment bankers to only look at the short term effects/benefits of their business decisions. The most enjoyable part was being a part of and learning from a large global team and the benefits

Cons

Good learning experience

Immediate line management is very supportive and learning opportunities given, in case of a good performer, appreciation and additional responsibilities are provided and talent is always groomed.

Pros

Supportive immediate line management

Cons

Uncertainty of job

Good role, unncertain future

IT's good role but an uncertain future as DB IT is in such chaos Largely intelignet, well-intetioned and hardworking IT teams struggling to perform in a very difficult organizational environment

eCommerce Client Services

A busy faced paced role not for the feint hearted. The most difficult aspect is working with technology systems that are out dated. Plus points are a good annual leave entitlement and good group of people to work with.

Pros

flexible approach

Cons

frustrating systems

Political Environment

Bad Culture. The boss did not want you to advance, stole your work and claimed the credit. Compensation is poor. Office bully and HR did not care. The system/technology was poor so that you spent most of time doing manual/labor work.
