interesting and challenging work
Interesting and challenging work. Decent work life balance. Competitive benefits compared to companies/financial institutions in other countries. A typical day is busy. I learned a great deal about how the financial industry works. The hardest part of the job was combating the instincts of the investment bankers to only look at the short term effects/benefits of their business decisions. The most enjoyable part was being a part of and learning from a large global team and the benefits

Challenging times and not much though process
DB is going through tough times and it is clear senior management still does not know how to execute a plan they shared to stakeholders. The infrastructure needs a lot of work and no BIG solution has fixed it. At this point, they need to start from scratch and rebuild it otherwise it is a constant band aid (person) to help things move along. If you have been there a while, don't expect them to pay you to market. It is up to you to either ask for a raise or move companies to pay you at market rate
