DTCC is a good company in terms of benefits and allowances. I like the engagement activities, we are able to release our stress. Almost everything is good, can't think of anything bad.

Very unfair

There is a lot of inside politics involved in this job. Promotions are based on favoritism and completely unfair. If you liked by management then you will be promoted regardless of your abilities.

Not good for career development

Difficult place for career development.m and there’s no worklife balance here. Too many changes made for cost saving is not good for morale. Sometimes you feel like they overuse you with insufficient reward or recognition.

Good for a stop gap

This is a great place to learn the ropes if you are fresh out of college and looking at an office job or analytical role. Just don't expect to advance if you're not willing to play at office politics. Training is okay but managers tend to care only about advancing their own careers with little long term regard for members of their team. You do get good benefits including private healthcare and free fruit, tea and coffee.

Great PTO

Great PTO! 25 pto for first 5 years, 30 after that. The place seems to be behind on the in house culture. They are trying, but there is still too much old fashion culture lingering to move forward.

Great work life balance

Horrible management. Decisions are only made by the top. Career growth, expectations and advancement are unclear. Work doesn't matter, all that matters is if you are liked. Only hire connections, no matter if you are a better candidate.
