The Dulwich educational philosophy places equal emphasis on intellectual and personal development. We are a truly international and holistic school which, as part of the “commonwealth of Dulwich”, draws upon 400 years of tradition from our founding College in London and our sister schools in Asia.

In DUCKS, Junior and lower Senior School, the College follows an enhanced form of the English National Curriculum, incorporating elements of the Common Entrance syllabus. From the age of 10, our students are taught by subject specialist teachers in subject specific learning spaces. In Senior School, the College is an IB World school authorised to offer the IB Diploma as well as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

All our students are encouraged to participate in sporting competition and every child from the age of 7 is taught a musical instrument. Drama and opportunities for public speaking feature heavily from an early age.

Fast paced
Fast pace work environment. Things can change anytime of the day, so frequent check on emails is a must. People are friendly. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to be a part of children's learning.

Senior leaders do not know what they are doing.
The school is surviving on its reputation. Senior leadership is poor and unsupportive. I will not be renewing my contract. Work pressure is unmanageable and employees are not valued in many respects.

A pleasant environment to work in
Dulwich College is a wonderful school to work in, where all colleagues are really warm and helpful. The teachers are well educated and well equipped with knowledge who would share their skills and techniques of teaching. Everyone is polite and respectful of one another's races, nationality and culture.

Expat focus
Heavily focussed on expat recruitment. Not much career progression for locals. Recruitment focuses expats, just put ads in tes.co.uk website and singapore's jobsbank (for show) with someone in mind from uk. Squeeze you with different roles with minimum salary. Expats earns 6k plus. Locals 3k plus doing almost the same thing if not more. Basic staff benefits. Avoid.
