Business Development Manager (Former Employee) - Singapore - April 29, 2021
There's support from senior management by availability of subject matter experts for business development frontliners in consulting sales and solution selling. Breaking in new ground needs time and surge in learning especially in technical aspects. Meeting with clients, listening to their challenges and focusing on how to help more than getting the deal done proven to be rewarding.
Pros
Team building and regional activity
Cons
Long hours, extensive traveling

Great company to work for
Principal Consultant (Former Employee) - Singapore - December 16, 2019
DuPont is a very nurturing and collaborative environment with exceptional individuals who are eager to share their collective knowledge. The projects were interesting and diverse - one day you are working with oil and gas, the next you are working on sustainability training.
The benefits were great, and the perks were fun. You inherently learn a lot about safety culture (hold that hand rail!)
The best part of the job was delivering safety training, as that was very rewarding and fun. The leadership was some of the best that I have ever experienced - they took an active role in personal development and coaching.
Pros
Lots of team building events
Cons
It is a long, slow process to get new contracts, and a lot more marketing support was needed to raise visibility and help get new leads in.

Good
Manufacturing Specialist (Former Employee) - Singapore - October 13, 2019
Working in Dupont was amazing. I wanted to experience out of Singapore that’s the reason why I turn to UAE. The working culture is phenomenal. Management slightly more to micromanaging which does not suit me. The working life style is very simple and straightforward. It can bright up your career as it opens your ideas.

This company is safety and family oriented
BUSINESS/TREASURY ANALYST (Former Employee) - Singapore - July 2, 2017
What I like about Du Pont is that they are safety oriented company. They ensure safety and targets 0% casualty. This company is one of the few companies who are family oriented. They gave 3 days child care leave to those who have family and they allowed parent to work from home if there are any emergencies.

DuPont is a good company which has strong Core Values.
Respect for People is one of them.
This sounds simple but honestly I do not see this core value in many companies nowadays.

Productive and fun place to work in.
Business Assistant (Former Employee) - Jurong Island Adipure - September 16, 2013
As an administrator my primary job is to manage the paperwork and support the engineering personnel to make sure that day-to-day business runs smoothly and that the company is able to meet certain defined goals. In nearly every context, the job involves four main functions: communication, coordination, daily administrative tasks and long-term planning.
In my vast years of working I have gained experience in the setting up and maintenance of the plant documentation systems and the ability to apply a wide range of workplace skills, including the ability to work creatively with others, apply critical thinking and decision-making skills, communicate clearly, collaborate with others and access, evaluate, use, and manage information effectively.
The worst part of my job is trying to communicate with the employees who work on night shift. It is very challenging to coordinate purcahsing and timesheets with them as well as any leave requests or doctor's notes. The difference in schedules can be problematic with that. I prefer to not call employees when they are off work and vise versa. Getting necessary paperwork from our field operations staff can also be challenging. If they are in the field all day, it can be difficult to get the papers turned in and processed correctly.
The best part of my job is basically being my own boss in many ways - I'm given work to do and given space and freedom to get it done. I have a lot of responsibilities, but I don't have someone constantly looking over my shoulder to monitor my work. I have a wide variety of things to accomplish, so each day is -
