The most useful review selected by IndeedKeep cup for coffee with free barista and free lunch. Hot desk working place, but lockers are full so its a hassle to bring everything back. Overall, the work is okay - like an MNC u can imagine

1. Free barista coffee and free lunches daily2. Free shuttle to SJPS from STC to and fro.3. Wellness benefit is great.4. For sw, can WFH twice a week max but it's not an entitlement; if got works, still have to go office.

Money drives everything in Dyson and internal competition supports this. if all you care about is $$ and don't care about your health, both physical and mental then go for it. if you have a family and want to remain human... DONT.

Innovative and enriching
Great company with great products . The office is very well maintained and cool. The company has a lot of good training and development opportunities. My direct manager is very respectful of staff and emphasise a lot on work life balance.

Productive

Dyson has a wide range of projects. As a software test engineer, i was able to work with not just one project but other projects. The work-life balance exists in Dyson. People in Dyson have sport activities or other recreational activities after work at least once a week. Dyson however, has too little diversity and tend to feel left out. Dyson implements a open office working environment which encourages work communication and team play.

Jobs at Dyson
Company with a potential but lacks culture
Dyson grew rapidly over the years which is a very positive outlook considering the age of the company. The company has very good engineers who are smart and hardworking but also have a lot of redundant people not performing and hindering Dyson’s growth. Dyson went on a hiring spree upon expansion and hired a lot of employees who aren’t monitored for efficiency. HR in Dyson is the worst one can ever see.. both in terms of efficiency or delivery of service. I personally think Dyson can do so much better if the workforce is monitored well and a healthy culture is reinforced..
By the way, a normal workday at Dyson is a group of zombies walking in, not greeting each other, not smiling as each other, sat at their desks and staring at their laptops!

have an advantage if you come with working experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment and is proficient in automated equipment troubleshooting techniques and preventive maintenance methodology
be required to have relevant automation experience, knowledge/experience with robotics will be a plus
be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
have track records of the ability to seize opportunities for continuous improvements (thinking ahead, foreseeing issues/problems and derive solutions)
be able to work on rotating 12-hour shift patterns

A good place to upgrade your technical skills, provided you are willing to commit your personal times after office hours. Sometimes feels too many meeting everyday

In Dyson most of them work according to their own preference. dont follow the SOP. when come to audit than start to follow the SOP.
I learned about warehousing management in Dyson. The culture as normal as all take care of their own rice bowl. the most hardest part was team work with some stubborn workers. The most enjoyable part was do stock count because all help each other. Because if finished early can go back early. Thanks.

The work in dyson is alright. Interesting in the sense that as a mechanical engineer you get involved in so many areas of the design development. The design process in dyson is rigid and comprehensive.
