Toxic workplace, terrible HOD
MANAGER (Former Employee) - Farrer Park - October 17, 2021
Toxic culture, bad management and no communication between the department. Everyone not working in harmony, just trying to outshine each other. Everyone made to do triage or swabbing duties in addition to your typical day work, except for HOD are excused.

Incompetent old CEO
Manager (Former Employee) - Little India - June 3, 2021
Disorganized management team is mostly due to incompetent CEO, with no background of hospital management. A good place for short term stay but not long term, as staff replacement is common practice.
Pros
Near MRT
Cons
incompetent CEO only knows to smile, but not hearing to staff. Old age does not earn you respect by default, if you do not take care of staff. Very tough place to work as the CEO is indecisive, and full of blame culture.

Too much unhealthy politics
Manager (Former Employee) - Farrer Park - October 31, 2020
Favouritism in workplace. Workplace gossip which causes erosion of trust and morale. No career prospect. Attrition due to good employees leaving the company. Don’t waste precious time there.

Work at your own risk!
STAFF NURSE (Former Employee) - Singapore - August 6, 2020
Favoritism and discrimination-filled work place. Unprofessional and gives promotions on non-merit (boss' favorite). Salaries are not equal, some employees are paid higher yet they do the same work as the rest. Some doctors/clients are race discriminating - they prefer locals only. Doctors will shout at nurses as if they own them. Salary, especially bonuses are way waaaaay below what other hospitals offer. Work at your own risk.
Pros
Colleague-turned-friends
Cons
Bad management

High rank people from restructured hospital look down on normal staff
Intern (Former Employee) - Farrer Park - February 20, 2020
Comfort, Value, Fairness is their mission. Do not join if you have a weak heart! High rank people from restructured hospital join here and treated this place like their playground, working with no planning and no integrity! Look down on normal staff, comparing their ex staff with current staff! Critisizing everything including their current director. I see so many good staff left! This is bad! If they are so good why they themselves leave the old work? These high rank people are so toxic! Alot of good staff left. Everyday just short handed.

Personally the peers are fun to be with.
Staff Nurse (Former Employee) - Singapore - February 13, 2018
Been there for 2 years. It was pretty OK initialy till the arrival of some high ranking people whom overhauled the whole administration overnight. All staff then were forced to take upon various comittees membership which I think is a bit overboard. Staff aplenty were unhappy & left. Hopefully the new management can change the whole hospital administration for the betterment of the hospital
Pros
Good salary
Cons
Too many comittees all staff have to join

Not much staff welfare
Patient Service Officer (Current Employee) - 1 FARRER PARK STATION ROAD - November 5, 2015
It is a slow and steady work environment. But as it is a new hospital. there has been a lot of changes that the lower level staff such as ourselves have been adapting to. But are unable to keep up with all changes and our voice is not heard, thus forcing a lot of us to have to leave and look for jobs.
