Lots of backstabbing from the old guards who have been there since the opening days. Favouritism is rife and if you are favoured, opportunities will be for you.

Overbearing workload and Bad directors lead to poor management

Don’t even know how my directors managed to become directors. Treat all of us like dogs. Micromanagement. Read every single of our email and pick on every mistake (even minor typos) and ask us to rectify. Shoot you over emails during and after working hours. Suddenly find a lot of things for you to do right before you go on leave. Or dig up things from the past and shoot you. And only approve your leave after you clear finish all the outstanding tasks that they find for you to do the day before your leave. Ask me to remove things that you done for them from your appraisal. And will not send the appraisal to the senior management if you never remove the things they asked you to remove. Does not pay OT, as the management assume that if you never finish the work that you’re supposed to do for that day on time, it’s your own problem.

A very toxic work environment. Lots of colleagues are backstabbers. Managers and supervisors are lazy and clueless. Always looking for scapegoat in any bad situation but will take all the credit when things go well. Only ball carriers are rewarded. I won't even recommend working at Gardens by the Bay to even my worst enemy. Stay far far away!

Fun Workplace

Team mates are well do get along. Learn about the industry through this program. Management treat everybody well. Work culture is a fun place to work at. Theres no hard part during my time there.

Nice ambience working environment except for the far distant. Need to walk about 10 to 15minutes from mrt station.good salary and bonus payout.Staff welfare well taken care of.

Good and understanding Leads and Supervisors. Colleagues are friendly and helpful while we at work and solving matters between customers. Bonuses are given during holiday seasons even though I am just a casual staff.

Not well organise with many things to learn

Shift work with plenty of equipment breakdown. How to work with nature, plant & human crowd. Direction not very clear. A lot of urgent work & defects. Taking care of the large amount of equipment defects & customers safety. Enjoy the event atmosphere & ended without complain.

One of the best jobs I applied to. Staff is incredibly friendly and sociable. Job Scope is reasonable and simple. You will learn how to deal with guest politely and calmly. The best part of the job is the friends that you will make along the way and it is rather simple to do said jobs.
