Learning curve in Givaudan is at an exponential rate. The company has a very strong Continuous Improvement culture. A very customer-centric organization. There are so much rooms to explore, and potential of growth in terms of career advancement and knowledge development in the business Givaudan is specializing. And the company provides the support needed if you have both the SKILL and WILL required in the role, or even, your future envisioned role, to be successful. Day-to-day at the company is all about living and breathing the DNA of Givaudan: To inspire, challenge and engage with heart and soul.I left the company to pursue my passion in specific field, but if given the chance to work with Givaudan again in the near future, I would, in a heart beat.

Job advancement

Not able to move higher in term of job advancement. Workplace culture not able to change after some many years. Management not supportive on the new change that we intend to implement. The most enjoyable part of the job is my department colleagues and my direct boss, that able to encourage us and guide us on the job.

love my job as a foods tester & get to know a lot of great peoples. Luv my working hour start at 2pm to 5pm some days have to work OT which is great. Near to where I live too!

Routine QC analysis of incoming & outgoing Sample , work as team with production team and Flavorist (creator of the Flavour ) to service our customer the best quality . Management guide us with the right achievement and direction of the company , while everyone have a part to serve the company and together to achieved the goals , The hardest of part of the job is gathering everyone to gain the knowledge of 5's ( sort , Set , Shine , sustain , standardize) . Nevertheless everyone enjoy , doing a part as a team.

Must not be sensitive to smell or scents

Great place to work if you are not sensitive to smells or scents. The factory is located next to the offices and one walk through the production plant and you will come home smelling like you just bathe in strong perfume, or worse poultry.

I'm a RAPS Assistant and Admin Assistant. I deal with documentation request every single day and reply to emails. I've learnt a lot from this experience with the company. From dealing with internals' request to externals' request. How the information being convey differently. The hardest part of this job is I'm desk bound so it can be quite drying. The most enjoyable part of the job is dealing with different International Customers.
