Strong leadership at all levels...locally, regionally and globally. Always innovating. Great to work for a global, financially successful, market leading organization.
Givaudan has many of the appearances of a solid respectable company on the outside, but spend a little while there and you’ll see it’s only skin deep. Pay is above average, benefits are ok (healthcare is a bit expensive). Company management (corporate and global) sets challenging goals and preaches things like safety and quality, but then fights any major change/improvement ideas tooth and nail. They would prefer to keep things as they are, but then nail you when you didn’t meet an improvement goal. Most people I work with on a daily basis throw up roadblocks and make my job harder, not easier.
Pay, job stability
Spent several years as a maintenance engineer at naturex but ultimately was let down by the company on too many occasions. Management lie and make up the rules as they go along to suit the company's needs. Poor working environment. Very low wage for skill of job and no job progression or satisfaction.
The overtime was plentiful, most of my coworkers were respectfull. Some where down right mean. Upper management was encouraging. Floor supervisors where unprofessional and played favorites. I was encourage to speak up at the weekly B.R.I. meetings, when I did I was told I had a bad attitude. Never took a day off. Gave 110% everyday. Average 50 hours a week. Yet to loyalty to me. The destroy those who work, and cuddle the ones thatbdont.
Favoritism anong floor supervisors
Everyone there is very nice. The work environment is very fast paced because of the amount of work load given on a daily basis. It's a nice place to work at, however, it's hard to get a promotion at this company due to "lack of funds."

It is what you make it. Third shift is the best shift in my opinion, leads and supervisor allow you space to work and don't stalk you. Plenty of freedom on third shift as long as you get your job done. Pay is decent depending on what department most start around 17.50 with a 1$ shift differential. Caps out at around 25-27$ an hour for dryers and 23-24$ for blenders. Management seems lost and out of touch with production and is really tryingto eliminate overtime completely which many employees are upset about! There is plenty of politics in order to move up, not all the time but most 1st shift definitely get preferential treatment in my departmentand nothingis done about it. Overall, if you keep your head straight and work hard and show up, they'll have no reason to hold you back.

Bad work environment. No structure of command. All the managers and supervisors are very pretty and vindictive. None of your work is ever appreciated. Everything done there is just to make themselves look good.
Terrible place to work
Negative environment. Used no loyalty not appreciation. The shop Stewart is company appointed . How is that possible? Union shop Stewart's should be voted in . You go to the shop Stewart and he will say do u want what they say or you will have a bullseye on your back .
Management and leads are complacent
