It's Big Pharma and British and these traits show up in every aspect of work. Top leadership is sincere in their efforts to be environmentally sustainable/ champion for inclusion and diversity, but I don't see this in leaders 2 layers down and beyond. The company expects to split in 2022 and it will be rocky times up to and including that year. If you're reading this to figure out if you should take that interview/ offer, I suggest you look before you leap - do your own due diligence!

Pros

Sometimes you get great leaders

Cons

Sometimes you don't

Used to be a better company... Mostly driving shareholder driver now.

Used to be a better company... Lost its magic when it's mostly profit-driven. Drives a culture of "who you know" instead of ability. Lots of great talent has left the company since 2019. Used to be a great company!

Pros

Prestige

Cons

Lost Glory

Worst work culture ever

Company are great in blaming employees which includes the management level. Everytime when there are issues arised, the first thing in mind is to blame the employee performing the task be it being the person who volunteer to work. Do more does not make you feel better and it will increase ur deviations level and impact on your yr end appraisal. Worst culture that is being created by the management

Pros

Good benefits

Cons

Worst culture which makes individual mentally suffer

There is no work life balance or opportunities for growth

Overall it is not a conducive or healthy work environment. There is hardly any work life balance. There is hardly any salary increment except to adjust for economy fluctuations. Wages are not competitive with the market rate. There is little or no opportunities for growth if you are not at the management levels. Colleagues are not supportive of each other. Thus, there is little teamwork.

Generally ok.

Good environment but some office politics. Long working hours. Old machinery with minimum expenses. Usually more paper works than field work on site. A lot of learning points in the working environment.

Pros

Good environment.

Cons

Long working hours

Productive Workplace

Was given the opportunity to attend my internship at GSK Vaccines. The internship was an eye-opening experience and it has allowed me to gain experiences that would be different from what was learnt in school. Furthermore, it has improved my problem solving and communication skills.

Application Support Intern

The job scope was simple, and the technical aspect was surface level. My manager was very good, but often times there was no work for the day, and there was nothing to be done, but I was still required to be around during office hours, which is okay.

Logistics Material Supply fun work place.

Work is based on process requirements based on schedules.Break times are taken once task are completed especially for lunch, tea breaks and dinner. Most of the times schedules are met and completed for the day with good team work by members.Learned good cGMP,ALCOA principles,Data integrity, managing junior team members guiding and OJT. Work place culture is good, respect for each other and good team bonding. The hardest part of the job would be rushing to complete the CIP/SIP within the shift.

Pros

Subsidized meals, good health benefits.Transport provided to Malaysia.

Cons

Allowances are still the lowest for shifts and bonus.
