Overall good culture but I am not sure about the job

It is a big organize with pros and cons:- Pro: good compensation package, nice people, good culture- Cons: bureaucracy is a bit thing. Depends on your appettite, you will enjoy it or not

Trending downwards

Experience completely dependent on team given company’s scale. A lot of bloat with middle management, and while a good proportion of them are competent, hard for things to move.

Challenging workplace

While the job listing highlighted the potential for growth and learning opportunities, I found the work environment to be quite chaotic and disorganized. Communication among team members was lacking, which made it difficult to collaborate effectively. Additionally, the workload was often overwhelming and there was little support from management in terms of managing priorities and deadlines. Overall, while the company has potential, I found the work culture to be challenging and not a great fit for me personally.

Good benefits

Good salary package and interesting people. Potentially slow progression due to the high competition. There is enough red tape that it can be hard to get things done

Layoffs due to global tech firing. Overall decent company to work with, but dependent on team and bosses. For promotions in google, you have to show that you are performing at the next level before even being considered..

Best company I've worked for

It's a great company to work for - benefits are unbeatable, and great collaborative culture. I miss it!As the company grows, job specialisation becomes too narrow, and career progression is stunted.

Fun workplace

Google is a fun workplace with lots of benefits. Work is tough but we work hard and play hard at the same time. I miss the Google culture and the people there.

Whistle blowers not welcomed

harassment taken lightly. No other avenues to reach out. bosses were not fair. management team had their own agenda. no career advancement unless creme of the crop. threatened over job security
