Good culture and understanding workplace

Good learning space for people who are just starting out in their careers, and also for families as there's flexibility in working hours. There is generally strong work-life balance, and projects are not too crazy.

Fun and collaborative workplace

Overall, it's a genuinely nice place to develop your career. Was surrounded by a bunch of smart and friendly colleagues, I learnt a lot from them. Average age in Govtech is lower than other gov agencies. Vibrant and energetic working culture.

Cool and fun place to work in (if you are posted to HQ)

There is no air or barrier from top management, mid level Managers and working group staffs. Even contract workers are treated as part of their own, so its really a one "Gigantic, Fun and Happening" family. Freeflow of food and drinks supplies available all the time. Everybody engages with any other divisions, very collaborative work culture. Also, they encouraged and incentivize all employees to continue upgrade and upskill, staying relevant to time.

Demanding culture and bad resource management

Not for someone that is transiting from private sector

Exciting and innovative

The internship at GovTech was exciting and full of opportunities. The hardest part of the job was perhaps trying to figure out where to contribute because of the myriad of projects available. The workplace culture was acceptable, the nature of the industry is such that bureaucracy is evident.

Comfortable, Structured, Easy

TEMPORARY CONTRACT EXECUTIVE (Former Employee) - Mapletree Business City - December 20, 2017

People are really nice, from managers to directors. Environment is awesome, office is really modernize and comfy, great to work in. Do not watch your time-in time-out strictly, long as you do your job. End early on fridays! Great employee benefits even for contract staff!
