Good learning opportunity
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) - Singapore - October 18, 2022
Working at GT is fun and your learning curve will be steep as you will get the chance to work on some really exciting projects. You need to work long hours during peak season. Nobody will ask you to do it but workload is so much that you have to do it.

Last minute situations, no clear objectives, performance goals and indicators, blame-game culture
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) - Singapore - January 8, 2020
Most of the people tend to come late to work and it looks like an acceptable behaviour but it is later during performance review criticised. Common blame-game culture, confusion in terms of objectives, expectations, lack of direct and clear communication, lots of "behind back" gossiping.
Pros
International brand
Cons
Last minute situations, cultures and characters clashes, not clear objectives nor KPIs nor performance expectations, blame game culture.

Fun Work Place & Productive
External Audit Senior (Former Employee) - Singapore - February 3, 2018
Typical day at work in an Audit firm is performing statutory audit for various industries. As an auditor, i have learn a lot from my client by studying the industries and conducting an interview with the client. The hardest part of the job is short time deadline and multitasking.
And the most enjoyable part of the job is get to learn various organisation process flow and working environment as well as able to interact with various stakeholders.
Pros
Same Peers
Cons
Long Hours

Poor Leadership
Audit Associate II (Former Employee) - Singapore - April 18, 2016
Poor leadership focused on short term growth at the expense of long term growth. Remuneration does not coincide with the level of efforts put in. Limited progression available. Tight budget from top-down.
Clients range from small to medium size companies.

Motivating workplace
Business Risk Analyst (Former Employee) - Cityhall - October 13, 2015
Management was very friendly and open to suggestions. It was at times difficult to meet all the audit deadlines but it was quite fun. The best part was having to meet different clients over the months and learning how their control systems operate
