Relaxed working environment with happy people. Slow progression but varied work and interesting projects.
Mechanical Engineer Intern (Former Employee) - Tuas - January 5, 2022
Intern. Work life balance is extremely good, flexible timings. Work is treated as a deliverable, and the number of hours you spend in the office. employees are free to manage their own schedule so long as they deliver on time. No micromanagement. Snr staff are helpful and patient in guiding new hires.

Little advancement and some minimum coaching is given, manager does not provide quality and some standard of empathy. Seek your communication and clarity through your means. Safety is always core!

No training and bad spares management
Technician (Former Employee) - Singapore - June 23, 2020
Apart from helpful colleagues, it will be a hard time for you if your Production Group Leader-PGL (supervisor role) is non competent and is not from technical background. You’ll find this PGL just walking around knowing nothing other than pushing spares here and there and left alot of job half cooked and you can’t ask for opinion either. You will be fine if you’re a yes boss kind of person. No trainin.
Pros
Great colleagues
Cons
Incompetent management

Bad

Not a good place to work as there is high retrenchment rate and management is really bad. Employers are treated unfairly in terms of opinion. OT very little

Good people to work with, only if you get a good manager
Sr Electronics Engineer (Current Employee) - Singapore - March 13, 2020
The team I worked with was really good. But the management only cares about share prices and their bonuses. Layoffs are rampant and sometimes can happen without reasons.

Work Life Balance

Job scope is limited and do not get to interact with many parties. However work always ends on time and there is a shuttle bus to and from work. Good work life balance.

discrimination in the workplace include when an employer, supervisor, or co-worker treats another employee unfairly based on religion, age, ethnicity, gender, disability, skin color, or race. ... There are essentially two types of discrimination. The first type is direct liability.

Manager was one of the worst I had in my life
Associate Technical Professional (Former Employee) - Tuas - September 19, 2018
Worked under Sperry Drilling Technology team as an Mechanical ATP (associate engineer). The department was promising at first, but managers got caught in climbing the career ladder which resulted in the suffering of the people doing the work.
My manager got the job, but politically removing our then boss, and making him an outcast in the company. The other mechanical team had the same thing happening. My manager (who is the more incompetent one of the 2) begun feeling threatened by people who had more potential than him and began making their life miserable so they would leave. Chain of command above living with their heads in the clouds.
Pros
Transport from home to office
Cons
Worst management in the world
