So So
Waiter (Part-time) (Former Employee) - Holland Village - March 11, 2020
Manager was two faced and did not provide us with sufficient training. When we would clarify with him, he would scold us. It was a stressful working environment with employees talking behind each others back. Furthermore the pay was relatively low at $7.5/hr

Fast paced environment
Service Crew (Former Employee) - Orchard/Plaza Singapura - November 20, 2019
I was one of the new part timer who got $8.50, but I also had experience beforehand coming to work here... but I also agree it was difficult to arrange schedule because the management would just put whoever they preferred to work. Due to this issue I was unable to work there a lot and had to resign. The part timers are quite nice to work with, most of the full timers if they are not management are easy to get along with. Management always stressed over something... hard to work with them.

Hoshino Coffee
Operations Executive (Former Employee) - Plaza Singapura - November 10, 2019
The work there is fun and I had learn a whole lot when working with them. I have worked as a chef, barista and managing operation. I was going to be promoted to an assistant manager but I felt the workload was to much so it actually led to resignation for the company as the hours are too long. Its a fast pace cafe as it can get really busy.

Hectic workplace
Kitchen Helper (Part-time) (Former Employee) - Dhoby Ghaut - January 22, 2017
Average 6/7 hours a day. 4/5 work days a week. Picked up simple cooking skills. Workplace is extremely hectic and stressful especially at peak hours and on weekends. Toughest part is probably handling with the stress as more and more orders pile up. Most enjoyable part will be that during free time, i hang out and chat with other staff in the workplace.
Pros
Meals provided
Cons
Extremely stressful working environment
