Misogynistic CEO

Title says it all.- Enables a dog eat dog culture among own colleagues/staff. Happy to see any form of competition even if it means toxicity increases. - Not genuine and does not consider a single bit about staff's mental health. - Very traditional company with traditional mindset looking to grow big with no change in procedures/foresight- No trust from CEO given to management/staff yet expects performance- Tags bonuses to loyalty and loyalty is seen as the no. of years with the company - HR is non-existent; only on paper there is HR - beware as its only one man who focuses more on her other duties than striking a balance between the two- Company is stingy. as a profit organisation, everything is about having a bigger cut of profit for them than rewarding employees where rewards are due- Turnover rate is higher than average bonus within staff level employees; almost 1 (if not more) tenders every month. The company struggles with retention and CEO wonders why- Workplace unhealthy politics extremely high, affects your mental health in the long run

Pros

If you're lucky, you get to form 1-2 friendships with those few colleagues who end up leaving anyway

Cons

Toxic environment (if the HR aspect isn't a telltale already, CEO calls entire company a 'family')

This is a highly competitive industry. However, there are people who did well. Need to network and know many people. Can be very stressful when sales are not coming in. There is a possibility that sales can be undercut by fellow agents. Must establish strong rapport with clients. Also need to establish their concerns. Keep in touch with them is important.

Challenging

Typical day at work is Sale and Admin. Learned to communication skills with clients, lawyers, bankers and different parties. Learned how to ensure smooth work flow and procedure of documentations. Guiding my working partners with no or minimum experience. Hardest part of the work is concrete a sales or rental transaction and handling different kinds of clients. The most enjoyable part are the monetary achievement and gained my clients satisfaction of my good & professional services.

Monetary if can seal the deal.

Need to work almost daily and irregular working hours.

This is what most people will define as a self-employed position. There is no basic salary only purely commissioned based. My team has been energetic and very helpful in my starting with Huttons Asia. Loads of things to learn in marketing, especially with new government policies such as DNC and PDPA. Actually the hardest part of the job is being truly there for my clients when and where they are. I wish I can be there at the blink of an eye facilitating them at the same time enjoying their presence like a friend.
