IHiS sits at an exciting crossroad between health and technology. Over the years, IHiS has integrated resilient, intelligent, secure and cost effective technology with people and processes to make healthcare more efficient, more inclusive, more accessible, and safer for patients.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, the value of HealthTech was made even more apparent – it enabled us to move at speed and scale, dealing with the rapidly evolving threat environment and corresponding national responses. Without technology enablement, much of what Singapore achieved would not have been possible.

In the years ahead, Singapore public healthcare will continue to focus on improving population health, making healthcare more sustainable, and enhancing the patient experience. HealthTech will undoubtedly play an instrumental role in enabling us to leapfrog to the next stage of transformation and draw Singapore closer to her health goals.

IHiS will partner policy-makers, planners, clinicians, administrators, technologists, academics, and industry partners to work towards our common goals together. IHiS will play a leadership role in technology enablement in the healthcare space, in collaboration with MOH, public healthcare institutions and our community care stakeholders. We harness multiple HealthTech domains - Health AI, telemedicine, electronic health records, digital health apps, and more, to push the boundaries for transformative health.
