Experienced managers, good for young people just starting out
Coordinating Security Specialist (Former Employee) - Singapore - September 27, 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedMade good colleagues and had experienced managers with solid credentials. I enjoyed working with them, but was there during the 12-hour workshift period so it took a tool (they have shifted to normal workshift periods now)

ISOS is a good place to work in with friendly colleagues. Superiors are willing to teach and help whenever needed. Very interesting and family friendly workplace.

Productive and fun workplace
Almost everyone I have met had been accomodating and helpful. Though the workplace is isolated and we are not allowed to go out of the camp for 2 months, because of the people I worked with, it didn't feel like im missing anything outside the camp. Free board and lodging. There is a division that will wash, dry and fold your clothes. Recreational rooms, basketball courts, tennis courts, and gyms provided in the assigned location for me. Unfortunately my contract ended, but if they will require my services again, I will gladly consider in working with the company again.

Good to start off for exposure but not for long term. Poor increment incentives. Get to travel but not all the time, depends on your work schedule. Work life balance attainable.
Pros
Transcultural experience
Cons
Poor increment, incentives. Leave days low.

Coworkers around the work
Program Manager (Current Employee) - Singapore - August 24, 2022
Interesting work environment with coworkers all over the world. Never a dull day. Although it's been established for over 30years, the work culture seem to be start up related
Pros
Opportunity to interact with colleagues over the world
Cons
Long hours especially to allocate suitable meeting time

Workplace with no career structure
Employee (Former Employee) - Singapore - March 17, 2022
Performance appraisals are subjective often times and employees are maximized with no relative increase in compensation. This is a company to work for if one does not see any career growth in 5 years or more.

Command and Control Culture
Head of Service Delivery Asia Pacific (Former Employee) - Singapore - October 8, 2019
At International SOS, while the company core values of Passion, Expertise, Respect and Care are important enough to be included in the annual employee performance review and serve as criteria for employee nomination, they are rarely practiced.
Pros
diversity
Cons
lack of feedback

My experience was good, however...
Global Support Engineer (Former Employee) - Singapore, Singapore - October 2, 2019
...the recent transition with 'consolidation', 'regionalization', and 'globalization' is client and profit driven, not 'people' driven... if you know what I mean.
Definitely not a passion driven organization.

Overall the work can be daunting but exciting.
Concierge Consultant - Flex (Former Employee) - Changi Business Park - August 2, 2019
I worked at Aspire Lifestyles and sadly, they have a horrid culture . The Manager is ineffective and constantly on smoke breaks with her staff who supposedly should be on the dial Biggest drawback is the high attrition rates there .They put staff on flex who show that they are more capable if they were properly hired with benefits . The culture sucked big time!
I would like to see a revamp of this department if I ever were to return to it.
CS is a terrible manager who goes on these smoke breaks and pretend to have the backing of her staff. A poorly organised department that needs a wake up call and management cleansing.
Pros
Good pantry and mingling with the medical, tricare staffers - Doctors are the friendliest and I have deep respect for them
Cons
Aspire Lifestyles needs a revamping big time

The worst work environment and culture I’ve ever worked in
Confidential (Former Employee) - Odeon Towers - January 25, 2018
International SOS was the worst work environment and culture I’ve ever encountered. The manager I worked for showed lor leadership and would routinely kick his subordinates under the bus for his own ineptness.
Pros
Free fruits that nobody wants anyway eg shrivelked up tangerines
Cons
Too many to name

An international company with local mindset
People are generally nice and helpful. Depending on the department, if you have western supervisor it is generally quite good, work culture can be open and rewarding.
Company has recently starting to invest in IT infrastructure which can help to increase work efficiency.
Pros
Flexi-work arrangement, exposure to cross countries project.
Cons
Limited career advancement opportunity, networking is very necessary, uneven allocation of resources caused a lot of politics
