Inclusive and a lot of opportunities
Talent Acquisition (Former Employee) - Singapore - July 18, 2023
Very supportive work environment, especially for an intern. JLL provides a lot of opportunities to develop as an employee by providing resources like one-to-one coaching and LinkedIn Learning

Efficient delegation
Admin Assistant (Former Employee) - Singapore - April 27, 2023
JLL has delegated individuals to companies in Singapore. From where I was sent to for my employment period, I have enjoyed the support from both JLL and my reporting company.

Toxic culture
Project Manager (Current Employee) - Singapore - December 7, 2022
Typical work day is 12-14 hrs, 50% of the time in meetings that has 20-30 attendees, and you don't get to speak more than 2 sentences (if any at all). I have learnt to work smart and not work hard. Management only recognises employees who are vocal and has a positive attitude. Does not matter if you do not do your job well, just need to know to claim credit that is not yours. Toxic culture like finger pointing and backstabbing when problems occurs, don't expect team work to solve problems, someone has to take the blame. The actual work for the role is straightforward as long you have some work experience, the hardest part is how to handle and survive the office politics. Most enjoyable part of the job is the flexible work from anywhere and anytime arrangement. At least we do not have to sleep in the office!

Good company
Facilities Manager (Current Employee) - cbd - November 30, 2022
Good company with limited benefits, overall is client based operation. so no connection with HQ most of the time. Account managers are spineless. Internal transfer is also pointless & always hiring external.

Currently I'm in a new account and the Country Lead is most supportive
Facility Executive (Current Employee) - Singapore - September 12, 2021
It all boils down to different management styles and the quality of the person. Trust in your team's work ethics is most crucial. A fully supportive leader is most beneficial that holds the whole team together.
Pros
Free reign of work management
Cons
Not so much as fully supportive upper management

Workplace culture
Engineer - Maintenance (Current Employee) - XXX - July 14, 2021
Many discrepancies in the contract when signed. HQ people do mistake, site team suffer. Top management knew this but never change. This cycle repeat everytime.
Pros
There are nice clients to work with.
Cons
Unstable work place, if contract did not renew the whole team will have to look for new site.

Jobs at JLL
Great Office Environment
Admin Assistant (Former Employee) - Paya Lebar - September 13, 2020
most of the time spent working here is great and the office environment is really good, the colleagues are collaborative and helpful when needed except for one which i can’t name. said person worked there for awhile thus it is hard to “challenge” them on issues that arise. everyone else was amazing however, stepping in to help even when it may not be their issue to deal with. 15/10 for the office itself and 8/10 for the working environment.
Pros
beautiful office, flexible working arrangements
Cons
that one colleague lol

Poor Singapore JLL Country management
Regional manager (Integrated Facilities Management) - Global Account (Former Employee) - Singapore - June 30, 2020
I was part of a global account, after closing the account I was basically jobless due to my high salary ( I done well in 3 years my salary went up by 30%).
Local management in Singapore be it HR or country top management basically ghosted me .
JLL local HR and regional TE basically they rather hire new foreigners than me
Pros
The customer is better than your employer
Cons
You are nobody to JLL

Work-Life Balance
Business Analyst (Former Employee) - Singapore - April 20, 2020
Good and smart colleague in CS. Great diverse body of employees. Many senior directors that stayed for more than 8 years and more who are proud to mention that JLL is one of the best companies they have ever worked for in their career lifetime.

Job personality
CLIENT SERVICES AGENT (Former Employee) - One Raffles Quay(North Tower) - March 8, 2020
Fun environment to work with and stress free but physically tired as need to move around often. Bosses and colleagues are family oriented environment. The only downfall was the pay was slightly low to maintain my family income.

Productive and competitve
Property Officer (Former Employee) - Central Singapore - February 28, 2020
The Job is relatively stressful but with relatively reasonable employee welfare. However no much career progression if work too long in the same environment.

Nice Workplace
UX trainee (Former Employee) - Singapore - December 14, 2019
Innovative place to work, those who really like work in east side of singapore, this is good option. Working hours are quite good, and people are very friendly.

Relaxed Workplace.
Facilities Coordinator (Former Employee) - HarbourFront - November 29, 2019
Sitting on Client's site.
Nice environment and nice people to work in Coca-Cola.
Most of the time will be on site.
Slightly more jobs to do as compared to CBRE.
But overall, working in Coca-Cola under JLL is awesome.

JLL Management
Site Lead (Current Employee) - Lorong Chuan - November 26, 2019
The Management should do more to retain their employees and work on career progression or succession planning for staffs who had served with them long in the company.

Job depending on site
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) - Town - August 5, 2019
As a site staff, is a daily routine at work and knowing what you should do is important. Being a site staff, life depends on the council and the site staff.
HQ does arrange for internal training and bonding for staff.
Pros
Near home
Cons
Operational work and hope to have a 5 days work week
