New Program Director, Remodeled facility, Lots of new educational items, Quality Staff

Program Director (Current Employee) - Dearborn Heights, MI - April 20, 2022

This center is under management of a new Program Director, myself. The center program is well organized and our center was just remodeled. Staff are selected based off of experience, education background, quality of work ethic, and detail to children and the care they provide. Daily routine is easy to follow and helps children to expect what is coming next. Every moment is a teachable moment. Staff work together like a school family and have the children's best interest at all times. This is a very positive and uplifting place to be for staff and children.

Decent Place to Work

Daycare Worker (Current Employee) - Filer, ID - November 14, 2019

Good experience for first time working at a daycare. You get to spend a lot of time playing with the children and doing activities/games with them. You also have a chance to help them during their homework time and you can help children one on one with their assignments they have if they need assistance.

Worst job ever

Teacher (Former Employee) - Dearborn Heights, MI - September 17, 2019

The company had a super high turnover rate. No value to the employees. Extremely disorganized. Late paychecks on more than one occasion. No pay for working overtime. Classrooms out of ratio a lot of the time. I would never recommend this place to anyone...as a job or a center for your children. TWO THUMBS WAY DOWN!

Welcome parents and children as they come in,take attendance of children as they come in with parents. answer phones, filing sort mail. I worked with people that were not American, and culture different than mine, so that made communication difficult at times. The most enjoyable time of day when I could communicate with the children.

Kidz Zone has changed in the past 2years, Kidz Zone has made a lot of changes with staff getting more qualified teachers, pay increase and new equipment and supplies for the classroom
