Good Company to work
Senior Executive (Former Employee) - Singapore. - September 29, 2022
Good staff benefits, job culture, management salary benefits, job security. Working at KK, I was able to learn how to better multitask and coordinate schedules as well as being able to communicate well with my team has enabled me to learn much more not just about work but also life skills. Working with the team was the most enjoyable part of work as everyone does their best and always tries to communicate openly so as to be able to work more effectively as well as the care and concern for each other was always genuine.

Great place for paediatric experience
Registered Nurse (Former Employee) - Singapore - June 9, 2022
It was great working at KKH. They provide lots of learning opportunities to grow and improve. The management is fairly good and understanding. Hard work sometimes does not get noticed but on the whole it provided me with extensive experience in paediatric oncology.

Good working experience
RN Senior Staff Nurse ( NICU) (Current Employee) - Singapore - November 7, 2019
Career ladder is great even for foreigners. However, they dont support family migration. Salary wise and bonus were satisfactory compare to other hospitals.

state of the art hospital with excellent service
Staff Registrar in Neonatology (full time) (Former Employee) - Singapore - October 24, 2019
KKH is a state of the art hospital and delivers excellent service to women and children .
Management is very good and staff are well trained. Monetary compensation is good. However work-life balance can be limited because of workload, having a 24 hour shift 5-6x/month. Otherwise, service to patients has always been excellent.

Jobs at KK Women's and Children's Hospital
Can see and know a whole lot of characters
Senior Patient Service Associate I (Current Employee) - 100 Bukit Timah Road - July 16, 2019
A typical day would be I can do my job efficiently, without adding work, which at times need not to be done by me. But as a staff in of a team, I'm always more than ok to lend a hand.
A bad day, when other staff do not help me, when I'm in need to answer questions which definitely not under my means to advise parents.
Pros
Life experiences
Cons
Shift work

Good as retirement job
Work culture is not really good with colleagues being rude and unapproachable. Alot of office politics and bootlicking for administrative roles, wouldn't recommend for fresh graduates.
Cons
Need to work weekends sometimes but can only claim 1:1 timeoff even for Sundays

Ambivalence feelings. Fun and Sad
Enrolled Nurse (Former Employee) - Singapore - March 21, 2019
Its for children and women's hospital. I was assigned in Medical pediatric ward. Our patients was newborn to 2 years of age. It was one of the busy ward I think. We are short staff during my time a lot of staff was resigned bu mostly is migrating to other country. Its was fun working with the child. Sometimes parents are stressed but we understand that as a Nurses. Good thing is the transportation is really good. I learned more focus on handling children. Its not easy but I did make it. And I'm happy for my experience.
Pros
Free breakfast every monday
Cons
Busy
