Depending on what is your section, your workload may be different. In outpatient, it is very high patient load and quite a lot of things to on a everyday basis.

Pharmacist Job

Pharmacist (Current Employee) - Pharmacy - October 18, 2012

I have learnt much about clinical practice and multi-disciplinary teamwork. The other pharmacists I work with are pleasant co-workers. Most difficult challenge of the job is having two disciplines evaluate my performance - and it is difficult to please both sides. However, the multidisciplinary nature of the job is the most enjoyable, being able to work with other healthcare workers.

Pharmacist's Inpatient job

Pharmacist (Current Employee) - Pharmacy - October 18, 2012

Having been a pharmacist at KKH since 2008, I have recently worked closely with the infectious diseases consultants in the past 2 years for the antibiotic stewardship program. I have learnt much about clinical practice and multi-disciplinary teamwork. The other pharmacists I work with are pleasant co-workers. Most difficult challenge of the job is having both the Pharmacy department and the Medical department evaluate my performance - and it is difficult to please both sides. However, the multidisciplinary nature of the job is the most enjoyable, being able to work with other healthcare workers.
