Good work life balance and family orientated team
Research coordinator / Administrative assistant (Former Employee) - Novena - October 26, 2017
When not in office keying data and doing administrative work, my typical day would start off at preschool in various locations of Singapore. Working at KK Hospital, I was able to learn how to better multitask and coordinate schedules as well as being able to communicate well with my team has enabled me to learn much more not just about work but also life skills. Working with the team was the most enjoyable part of work as everyone does their best and always tries to communicate openly so as to be able to work more effectively as well as the care and concern for each other was always genuine.

Productive and meaningful workplace
Research Officer (Former Employee) - Singapore - September 11, 2017
My typical day at work involves processing blood samples, doing data entry, performing lab work and handling the diagnostic tests. I have experienced how fast-paced a diagnostic lab in a clinical setting is like and how the routine protocols should be strictly adhered to for one small mistake can affect a patient's life.
Pros
Meaningful place to work, very hands on and not just deskbound
Cons
For guys, always need to wear formal attire even though it is a behind the scenes job, away from facing public.

Specialist Clinic Assistant (Former Employee) - Bukit Timah - June 27, 2017
I learnt a lot of new things when I was there. Meeting all the children everyday. They make my day.
Working culture was good, very helpful colleagues.
The hardest part was when I see injured children coming in for treatment especially those with burn skin that broke my heart.

Jobs at KK Women's and Children's Hospital
Friendly working environment
Student Intern (Former Employee) - Little India - May 8, 2017
Student internship at KKH has given me a wonderful opportunity to understand and observe the job scope of a Dietician in a hospital setting, from the observation of patient counselling and kitchen operations to the attending of workshops and talks. These opportunities provided countless platforms for me to relate my academic learning to. In addition, assignments given by the company also gave me a chance to sharpen my knowledge and skills, especially those related to the field of nutrition.

A fun workplace ideal for medical and allied health professions
Pharmacy Technician (Former Employee) - Singapore - March 10, 2017
A fun workplace with free gym and shuttle buses:) Most of the employees are courteous and very respectful in their conduct. It's a lovely place I gonna miss.
To management level, the company is compassionate to its employees but very strict in implementing the hospital standards. The hardest part of the job is 'saying no' to overtime works as it has $ome perks and the most enjoyable part of it is you are working with friendly, respectful colleagues that are always there working for smooth work environment.
Pros
Increment every year plus bunoses
Cons
No housing benefit after your contract is localized

Service From The Heart
Ward Clerk (Current Employee) - 100 Bukit Timah Road - December 24, 2014
Working in KKH as a ward clerk is not as easy as people think. I have to handle with never ending calls from different departments, keying in necessary documentations into the system in a timely manner. Everything that I do requires team work and most importantly it requires active communication in between colleagues. The best thing about working as a ward clerk is you get to communicate with people. You get to render your help to the patients and family members and even though its just a few words uttered, a smile spread across the face will brighten up their day or make them feel better.
Pros
medical benefits
Cons
shift work

They have childcare for the employees to live the children. Gym to exercise before & after work. Have a better salary for the employees.
