A learning Environment

You will learn a lot from your colleagues while having fun and working harmoniously with them. They offer in service trainings that trained nurses to be an effective nurse for the children.

Cons

Big crowd of patients everyday

Challenging to work.

5-day compressed work week Flexi-time Part-time 12-hour shift rotation Our people enjoy many opportunities for career development in addition to the satisfaction of supporting women and children in their healthcare journey. As an equal opportunity employer, KKH values people for their capability. We understand that people with disabilities are equally able to contribute to the workplace. KKH supports and hires persons with disabilities and is committed to enabling them to lead independent lives

Good work life balance and family orientated team

When not in office keying data and doing administrative work, my typical day would start off at preschool in various locations of Singapore. Working at KK Hospital, I was able to learn how to better multitask and coordinate schedules as well as being able to communicate well with my team has enabled me to learn much more not just about work but also life skills. Working with the team was the most enjoyable part of work as everyone does their best and always tries to communicate openly so as to be able to work more effectively as well as the care and concern for each other was always genuine.

Abuse of Authority

There is personal liking in the work place and grouping business The supervisor is bias and abuse of the authority. The supervisor is not willing to send workers for training and upgrading

Pros

I have a group of good friends in the working place However they can't help much

Cons

most of the weekend and public holiday I need to work

very face paced

It is very good place to gain knowledge and experience, however it requires you to be always on the move and have long standing hours. Also, you have to be fast to react and always thinking.

Pros

staff louge

Cons

very hectic and fast paced

Productive and meaningful workplace

My typical day at work involves processing blood samples, doing data entry, performing lab work and handling the diagnostic tests. I have experienced how fast-paced a diagnostic lab in a clinical setting is like and how the routine protocols should be strictly adhered to for one small mistake can affect a patient's life.

Pros

Meaningful place to work, very hands on and not just deskbound

Cons

For guys, always need to wear formal attire even though it is a behind the scenes job, away from facing public.

fun, caring

I learnt a lot of new things when I was there. Meeting all the children everyday. They make my day. Working culture was good, very helpful colleagues. The hardest part was when I see injured children coming in for treatment especially those with burn skin that broke my heart.

Friendly working environment

Student internship at KKH has given me a wonderful opportunity to understand and observe the job scope of a Dietician in a hospital setting, from the observation of patient counselling and kitchen operations to the attending of workshops and talks. These opportunities provided countless platforms for me to relate my academic learning to. In addition, assignments given by the company also gave me a chance to sharpen my knowledge and skills, especially those related to the field of nutrition.

A fun workplace ideal for medical and allied health professions

A fun workplace with free gym and shuttle buses:) Most of the employees are courteous and very respectful in their conduct. It's a lovely place I gonna miss. To management level, the company is compassionate to its employees but very strict in implementing the hospital standards. The hardest part of the job is 'saying no' to overtime works as it has $ome perks and the most enjoyable part of it is you are working with friendly, respectful colleagues that are always there working for smooth work environment.

Pros

Increment every year plus bunoses

Cons

No housing benefit after your contract is localized

Hardworking and Self Sufficient Worker

The people whome I have worked with have always acknowledged my ability to focus on my task and come up with the appropriate solutions. I always work in observance of the proper conduct in the working place as well as towards the wellness of the patients and staffs, with accordance to the legalities involve. Aside from loving this kind of work, I am tactful and respectful and these qualities have made it easy for me to stablish rapport with other members of my team and with patients regardless of age and stature. Service From The Heart

Working in KKH as a ward clerk is not as easy as people think. I have to handle with never ending calls from different departments, keying in necessary documentations into the system in a timely manner. Everything that I do requires team work and most importantly it requires active communication in between colleagues. The best thing about working as a ward clerk is you get to communicate with people. You get to render your help to the patients and family members and even though its just a few words uttered, a smile spread across the face will brighten up their day or make them feel better.

Pros

medical benefits

Cons

shift work

In KKWCH- working life is busy and with high standard of service to deliver. But despite of that hospital aimed to have healthy life style. KKWCH gave me more confidence because of their up to date enhancement of knowledge & competency for the skills with the advance in technology that are using. They have childcare for the employees to live the children. Gym to exercise before & after work. Have a better salary for the employees.

Pros

anything, no problem for me whatsoever the management rules.

Cons
