Overworked and underpaid is the phrase for Lonza.
Where do I start, this was one of the worst jobs I have ever had when comparing potential to reality. Pay is no where near competitive compared to surounding similar jobs. Direct shift manager was great but anyone above him was garbage when it comes to how they treated us. Paraded us as "essential" workers in Newspaper and then insulted us with $50 walmart gift cards while other companies gave cash bonuses that actually help. Also they have an overtime board that may as well be your Bible because you will need to look at it constantly.

One lead operator who basically does everyones jobs.
As a CMO, Lonza is very sensitive about bottom line. A lot of decisions we make are based on getting the best profits out of the work. It is very fast-paced here. Work life balance can be challenging. People are friendly and collaborative, management however is very task oriented.
