I do not recommend those looking for a space to grow within the Arts & Entertainment industry. The directors, managers, and supervisors constantly look out for themselves and ignore important details like the safety of the team and others who work at heights. It's even more baffling to know that they are not specialized in such fields that their job requires them to be. Which leaves the rest of the team members being led by a bunch of unprofessionals.I can say that there are some team members who are super qualified in the field and it makes it a little easier to work but if your leader is not putting their best foot forward, the whole team gets affected and makes daily work harder to get done.If you're just looking for the paycheck, then have fun and forego your passion for the industry and your professionalism.

Rigid company which is top heavy

Join the advertising and marketing team with caution. Workload is insanely crazy and bosses do not care if you are flooded. Processes are outdated and ridiculous implementations will slow down your daily duties. Bosses are always emphasizing that if you do not keep up, be prepared to be replaced.

Not Productive And Progression

Was so surprise that you under supervision of your superiors with no related experience, skill and industry. Difficult to communicate because of no common ground related base on the field of expertise. Being proffessional in your craft is not a good place to work with people who don't want to understand about the industry and complacent to learn new things.

Be a bootlicker to survive

The benefits is good The thing is depends on which department you're going. Department management just steps on you when there's credit. They only favorite those bootlicker.HR only listen and see one sided story from management who abuse their power and target you when you don't agree with them.

Tiring

- shift timings, get tiring- there for 10 hours, maybe a bit longer - management might not notice you/biased- fighting for the leave slots - putting on a fake face everyday

Good management, good benefits, good salary, they take good care alot of their people.Marina Bay Sand is a good place to work. No discriminations we respect each other cuture and nationality.

24hrs free meals, night shift bus service provide, night diffrential allowance etc.

Pros: > 2 days off. It's so rare for an employee to have a benefit of 2 days off. But in Marina Bay Sands? Yes, it's possible. Paid Over Time. Great Commision basis. AWS. Bonus!. Overall, my experience at MBS has been very positive and beneficial to my career. I've wholeheartedly enjoyed my time here so far. Cons: Nothing.
