Was in the science department few years back, very close-knit group. Great culture as long as you are sincere. Some days can be flooded with samples, but still manageable. OT once in a while. Typical QC tasks.

Work from home every day. Sometimes have to work weekends once or twice in a months. Generally work life balance. However Manager is selfish and do not care for employee.

Not a good company to be employed

For Singapore sites, management is poor and it is a "Cover your backside policy". No such thing as you learn from your mistakes as if it will happen all fingers will be pointing at you. Its a 9-5 mindset for all staff and you will be disappointed. All programs are superficial and only to make somebody's performance look good. But in reality they really don't care about people and your welfare. You are like figures and resources for them to use and move. One senior manager's comment explains it all "There will be better ones coming". Instead of developing they will just get from outside and expect somebody to be plug and play.

Good company objective but the Singapore organization seems to interpret it in the wrong direction.

Cons

A lot...If you have options find something else. If you want to gain experience maybe 2 yrs yes.
