Unresponsible

Driver (Current Employee) - Singapore - September 15, 2020

Due to the Merck company's mistakes (Poor design), the employees lost their ability to work, but in the end Merck company chose to dismiss the injured employees, let alone the employees' future family livelihoods and medical expenses. On the contrary, employees who make mistakes can be protected by the company. I am very grateful to the Merck company for giving me a valuable lesson in my life.

Fun workplace

I learnt about working in a team and the workplace culture. The most enjoyable part about the job is having helpful teammates that I've created special bonds with throughout the years. The toughest part of the job is the manual work in the daily operation as well as juggling shift work with part- time degree course.

It really not a fun workplace. Most of the HOD of SP no longer working there.. It is really challenging for the new leader and new staff to take over. Resulted very high turnover.

Great company to work for

Everyday needs to review batch sheets, lab testing reports and release them in the system. On top of that need to prepare reports to keep track of different job activities KPI such as "Right First Time" report of the month in order to trace how many errors was committed by the production workers and lab chemists report when fill in their batch sheet and lab reports respectively. Other tasks such as help to solve problem together with production workers and lab personnel when there are lab test results or production manufacturing cannot meet the quality specifications. It is a great, friendly and pleasant working environment as I have learnt to communicate and work with different departments to solve the problems together. Though some problems require longer periods to evaluate and correct it, however eventually we manage to overcome it.

To do PM and CM for the production equipment. Respon any call from prodution to diagnose equipment fault and get wright at first time. Had an oppotunity to learn the Water Purified System for the Plant. No comment the management. My co -worker are good and helpful. To have support from Engineer regarding certain problems solving. During the Plant Shut Down or Plant Turn Around period.
