Metta Welfare Association (Metta) was founded in 1992 by Venerable Chao Khun Fa Zhao BBM. He is also the President of Golden Pagoda Buddhist Temple and Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum.

As a recognition of our efforts in pursuing Business Excellence, we have been awarded the Singapore Quality Class (SQC) with People certification in October 2018.

Metta was also awarded the Charity Transparency Awards (CTA) in 2019. The Award recognises charities with good disclosure practices that the Charity Transparency Framework (CTF) recommends to encourage charities to be more transparent and to recognise them for their disclosure efforts.

alot of people there are two faced so it can get confusing in who to trust....there is a lack of resources to complete work yet the deadlines are not extendable

Not very professional

Not a company that really emphasizes on quality. Workers do things with the "suka suka" attitude or "as they see fit" attitude regardless of whether the work done is up to standard or not. There is also the presence of toxicity and gossiping among different groups in the workplace, higher ups should observe for themselves so they can really improve the workplace. Productive and fun workplace

Had to attend to customers, stock take and deal with events. Was interesting to work at as I had to work with people with disabilities. I was exposed to the training of staffs and managing the cafe. Despite the long working hours, it was a really fulfilling job.
