Bonus and OT allowance frozen due to industry-wide downturn but workload and expectation remain high.There are several routine tasks to be done weekly that seem quite meaningless in my opinion but management places great emphasis on them.

OT everyday, mostly until midnight only can back, after OT pay cut, rarely have people OT, but still have to stay back or bring the work back home to continue the night

Bad management

Very toxic workplace. Promotions go by favoritism. Very politics and everyone works like there is no tomorrow. If you work any less hard than them, bosses don't value you. Join at your own risk.

Fun workspace but sometime can be stressful

Micron was doing good on the past few years and the benefits are one of the best in Semicond field. Despite of the overwhelming workloads and heavy and lengthy processes you may encountered in the entity, overall is good in terms of benefits. Downturn in year 2023, hiring headcount is freezed and possibly no increment as well.

Great company but no job security

Worked in Micron for a decade. Great company with good base-pay but minimum work-life balance. No Job Security and no loyalty to employees (depends on manager). Some managers are required to attend management courses.

Everyone has no life, need to OT to meet expectations. It is important to recognize the importance of having a life outside of work. People have families, friends, hobbies, and other personal commitments that should be valued and respected by their employer. Furthermore, working long hours for an extended period can lead to burnout and decreased productivity, which ultimately affects both the employee and the company.
