Good for a upcoming junior in the buyside

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
If you are aspiring to be a quantitative PM, then this is not a good place. Otherwise, good way to move into the buyside as a junior before going to a hedge fund.

Great learning experience

Great learning experience, good brand, long work hours and great team to work with. Challenges lie in the time pressure under which you have to work but that is the main learning point.

Diverse and open minded culture

As a client service team leader dealing with Equity Derivative product, I handle all queries from clients and various internal stakeholders. It is challenging to address and resolve various queries and perform cash settlements, in addition to monitoring of cash fails as well as allocate of trades for clients on a daily basis. It has been a fruitful experience as I have acquired an abundance of skill sets in both advisory and managerial capacity. The key competencies that I have adopted are strong communication skills, multi-tasking, prioritizing and delegating of assigned tasks, managing a team of 3 people and improving client service to delight client's transaction experience with the organization. The most rewarding part of the role is to gain recognition from clients that we have delivered good client service by understanding and resolving their issues timely and professionally. The other enjoyable aspect of the role is to work with internal stakeholders to devise solutions so as to accommodate client's requirements.
