Other than the pay is quite low but the job and the people are great. Lots of team effort . They give proper training on site for you. The work life balance is also good where you have spouse care parent care etc such leaves. The culture is also to care for your family and come back next day with fighting spirit.

Jobs at National Environment Agency
Balance
Senior Officer (Current Employee) - Newton - October 24, 2017
As Licensing Officers, some of our duties include conducting inspections of Foodshops as well as providing face-to-face consultation to the public. If we aren't on duty and meeting the public, our job is desk-bound which consists of processing o applications. On that basis, the job is pretty much a balance of meeting people outdoors and also indoors, back-of-office work.
Pros
Staff benefits
Cons
Understaffed, low in manpower

Fun and comfortable environment
Temporary Environmental Health Officer (Former Employee) - Singapore - March 8, 2017
Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Easily accessed back and forth to the office. Excellent leadership qualities from manager and team leaders. The hardest part of the job would be travelling mostly islandwide within the stipulated GRCs otherwise, it's easy to manage and work well. I like it very much as I get to work independently too.
