Featured review
NCS selected this as a representative reviewGreat place to start off for fresh graduates. Attended their fireside chats at my university and was intrigued by the vision and purpose of the company, so decided to join the Nucleus programme. When i joined, i found that the management is very progressive and visionary. The Nucleus programme is structured and there are a lot of opportunities.
Pros
Great place to start
Cons
Challenging work, but fulfilling.

Not recommended
Technician (Former Employee) - Ang Mo Kio - May 13, 2020
NCS have terribly poor management. Everything is managed poorly, the work is not well assigned to every employees. NCS staff are very rude and uses vulgarity when speaking. The staff treat others with no respect and have no discipline. The company also did not give employees enough work and life balance. Keep forcing employees to work overtime. I will not recommend people to join this company.

NCS HR or management dont care at all.
Senior Network Engineer (Former Employee) - Bedok, Outram, and Buono Vista - March 29, 2020
NCS dont really care about the well being of their engineers, all they want to obtain is the customer's are happy. No work life balance at all! Almost everyday is long working hours. Even when you are on leave you're required to answer your customer's call. The management don't care if you work load is high and unmanageable already. You're are entitled to have time off because of working for long hours, but really impossible to claim it because of high work load. There are no standard for change management system. Only pros are you will be managing different platforms and experience will definitely increase. Overall I don't recommend you to work in NCS, unless you don't have a choice.

Management
Data Center Specialist (Former Employee) - Tai Seng - March 26, 2020
Overall NCS is a good company. There are some Managers who needs more leadership skills. It is good to practice a work life balance at work but sometimes with foreigners it does not meet the expectations on what it is cascaded.

Unbalance company
operation service engineer (Former Employee) - Yio Chu Kang - March 16, 2020
Increment is low, unbalance work culture, unbalance manpower with too many contract foreigners. management says they won't fire or dismiss anyone but when project is out of money or not earning, they will sell it off including letting go of those contract staff handling the project.

Management not good
Management doesn't give a rat about your work. Always demanding stuff. When face with issue, non of the management is willing to help, only know to ask what the issue and no solution given to us.

individual site project mananges differently
System Administrator (Current Employee) - Depot Rd - February 6, 2020
Account managers require many job reports but are picky on the way a time sheet is filled. You may do alot of overtime but the timesheet is done in excel sheet format and is locked and structured in such a way that you may fill up to only five rows of overtime or 4 rows if there are 30 days in a month instead of 31 days. The managers say they will fight for overtime done but in actual fact you I'll not be compensated for the ovettime

NCS Review
Senior Tester (Current Employee) - Changi Business Park - January 27, 2020
Good Service company to work with. Low chances of getting permanent though. Most of Local Banks are their clients. Projects are driven by Client mostly and outsourcing of resources to Clients.

Work in School Environment.
Desktop Engineer (Former Employee) - Singapore - January 15, 2020
Work in Client school environment with 5 day work and Saturday as Standby. all scheduled as Shift & day work assign by company client.
Annual Leave given 14 day per a year contract. Difficulty to get leave will be main issue.
Would probably not get any leave during school holiday due to client request.
Individual KPI performance requirement is extremely high.

Pay too low
Desktop Engineer - Entry Level (Current Employee) - Yio Chu Kang - January 14, 2020
A lot to learn as the will be guide to refer to.
However different stress level depends on client side.
Pay too low compare to market rate.
Not much benefit as well
