Great Technology Company

Great Technology Company to work in. High performance culture. Strong emphasis on staff AI / digital transformation knowledge acquisition. Interesting projects.


Good learning opportunity (in house online learning, projects etc). Emphasis on AI.


Lack Job Security. Frequent Organization change. Politics at leadership level.

Hours of standing

As a promoter you're expected to just be there and push sales. However the comission scheme is pretty attractive. Good for students not good for long term.

Typical Large Corporate working environment

Standard working environment, not exciting at all Learning new skills was limited Management interaction was cagey most of the time and did not allow for efficient interaction and support the work space was multicultural, but limited to certain groups The hardest part about the job was getting people to provide their work inputs The most enjoyable part about the work, the international work done across the globe

Nokia is a great place to work. The company values diversity and this is what makes the working environment in the company so interesting. You have people from different countries and cultural backgrounds who are constantly engaging with one another thus fostering innovation in the company.

Productive environment with loads of learning and contribution

Wonderful environment , good pace of learning & decision making, very efficient supply chain setup, global presence , and regional accountability. Enjoyed new setup in India & advanced setup in the APAC HQ at Singapore.

I liked the work culture at Nokia. Witnessed too many re-organizations since 2000 but good to see the company has a long-term strategy is place. The shift from supplier/manufacturer to a SW enabled company is very much visible.

Independent working style

In Nokia, being with the Sales team, I have both my standard job to perform as well as ad hoc jobs as and when required by the sales personnel. This was where i learnt how to use a system called ARIBA. Co-workers are typically not in office as they are off to roadshows or retail shops. I was only 4 months there covering maternity but working for an MNC like Nokia is an eye opener at how colleagues go about doing their daily jobs independently.

Management has no sense of strategy or accountability with a reorg every 6 months. No localization. Teams are too political.

Probably the best organisation culture in the world.

Nokia Enterprise Solutions groomed and developed some of the best IT Security professionals. The Asia Pacific team was cohesive, fun loving and had strong camaraderie. Quality and results proven. Channel Partners are treated with the upmost respect and attention to ensure progression.


Worldwide projects, daily correspondance with overseas counterparts, excellent culture.

Alcatel-Lucent är generellt ett bra företag med kultur och miljö engagemang. Storleken skapar typiska problem med kommunication.

ALU är ett multinationellt företag i ett tufft affärssegment, telecom. Trots att företaget gått igenom stora nedskärningar och organisationsförändringar så har man lyckats få svarta siffror i kritiska situationer. Miljö och kultur frågor lyfts fram på ett bra sätt, man jobbar i många länder och kulturer, det krävs engagemang i frågan. Överlag är det ett bra företag att jobba för. Den övergripande arbets miljön är bra även om det finns en trend av många chefer i små landskap, man tvingas ta för sig och det tillåts.


Öppen dialog, hyfsat betalt, flexibla rapport väger, kulturer och miljö får engagemang.


Inga direkta nackdelar, möjligen att det finns för många små "kungadöme" i den generella organisationen och Franska kulturen, bolaget domineras av det Franska ägarskapet.
