Great learning but very toxic

Indeed featured review

Worked in financial reporting. Very toxic workload but you’ll learn a lot. Got to a point where I had to work for 16 hours just to finish deadlines.

Terrible, stressful, unappreciative work environment.

What is the best part of working at the company?I enjoyed what I did. My position and the employees that I had on my team were great. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The management team was one of the worst that I have worked with in my 43 year career. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Very stressful and not supportive. The management did not appreciate their employees and the hard work that they put in.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Non stop from the time you hit the desk and then continued long after your day should have been over.

Collaborative and the best work environment!

Very supportive work environment especially for new hires. People make it a joy to do the job. Hardwork is recognized and there is no barrier to communication with senior management.

Depends on your manager…

Great benefits and time off. Not good work life balance. A lot of excel reports for someone who has specific skill set. Too much emphasis on diversity. Plenty of great ‘non diverse’ employees looked over to meet requirements.

Environment

Overall, the environment and attitude is very positive. Everyone's looking to help and hear feedback. The more opportunities you're looking for the faster your career will continue to move upward.

Great place but zero work from home flexibility

Great people but not much work/life balance. Pay seems to be on the lower side for industry. I would not recommend for people with young families. Great benefits and vacation time.

Good place to work

I enjoy the culture at the company. Everyone is smart and welcoming, which fosters a more collaborative environment. Some of the facilities are a bit outdated, but overall, a solid experience.

Productive

Great learning experience but management needs a lot of training and less micromanaging. Overall a productive day and good pay/benefits. Toughest part was working close to manager who micromanages you and underestimates your capacity.

Lots of overtime

Lots of overtime. Had to work almost 12 hours a day 4x a week. Can’t feel managers sympathy towards employees’ concern regarding overtime work. Feels like you’re a robot

They are old school. And if you enjoy striving for excellence in all that you do - you’ll fit right in.

What is the best part of working at the company? The flexible. When I was done with my work for the day I could go. I didn’t have to sit around and wait until an exact time. During the winter months, if there was snow or rain and I didn’t feel like coming in, I worked from home and management was okay with that. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The way they run things are unique. So a lot of times theirs is no rhyme or reason (and not something that you can utilize past experience to discern), it’s just the Northern way. It’s definitely baptism by fire there but if you’re resourceful you’ll be fine. Management definitely has their favorites.

Supportive colleagues and nice culture. Workload is very heavy, but definitely learned tons of skills and qualities. Career growth and new learnings are highly encouraged

No Holidays, you must file a leave if you want to have a Holiday. Fair Salary and Promoting Career Growth.

No Holidays, you must file a leave if you want to have a Holiday. Overtime everyday since the company is understaff. My immediate supervisor is nice to me, same with my team. But the work is self is almost the same everyday, routinary and I had to do overtime almost everyday.

Big banks gonna big bank.

Got hired a year ago fully remote. The department has taken a hardline stance against fully remote work, and it’s spooking those of us who were just hired. The work life balance is not prioritized and the technology is just awful. The pay is better than I expected though as is the PTO.

Fun workplace

Good career progression with very good culture. Management listens to concerns and create ways to aleviate and lessen ot production hours. This is a very good place to start for those who are looking for their first job.

Work-life balance

Pros: Good benefits and allowances, good work locationCons: Poor management, changing work setup every year, no work-life balance. Management isn’t doing anything on the rising attrition

Compared to competitors pay and bonus is less for the work. If you are good to managers and team SME ‘s nod your head you will be promoted at the earliest. More then your knowledge and work your appearance matters.

Stable

Stable place to work, great people, good benefits but kind of pricey for family insurance, wished management appreciated long standing employees. Felt like a number when I left.

Productive Environment

Nice company to work for. Expected to work hard. Some excellent people working there. Also, some people who don’t fit the required standard. Would recommend.

Great Culture and Salary

Working in NT is really good because of their great culture wherein everyone will be heard. NT promotes healthy culture of feedback and condemns harassment (could be se*ual, vocal, written, hierarchical or authority). Salary is also good most especially for the technical coordinators.

Toxic team. Lacks support/training to new hires. Management bias.

Toxic team. Lacks support/training to new hires but there is an expectation that you knew the process already, thus, you will be afraid to commit errors or even ask questions as you will be singled out during meetings or reprimanded in public. Flexible work schedule. Younger demographics. There is management bias. There is good/defined promotion every two years.

Pros

Flexible work schedule. There is good/defined promotion every two years.

Cons

Toxic team. Management bias.
