The most useful review selected by IndeedPay is good but no worklifebalance. It all depends on the team you are associated with. My team was no good. Overloaded work. But must tell you that the company is good . Try your luck. All the best.

Management is not good - lots of favoritism, hard workers not recognized
Consultant Data Governance (Current Employee) - Remote - June 11, 2022
Management needs to recognize result oriented people not politicians and talkers. This is a global company so you start working really early in the morning and don’t end until your managers get their heads together to provide direction on something. Small issues need to become discussions and meetings full up the days. It’s very tough to work independently here. When you do work independently and deliver, you are not recognized.
Pros
Work from home
Cons
Crazy long hours

Secure Work
Team Leader (Former Employee) - Taguig City - June 10, 2022
The company is secured with many opportunities for growth. This is probably due to the high attrition with the company which results to alot of young, home grown managers.

No Work-life balance
Financial Analyst (Current Employee) - Taguig City - June 6, 2022
Workload is insane and our management seems not to care since we have raised this time and time again. They will only answer that it is normal that the amount of workload is NORMAL.

Great people and good culture

Northern Trust is a great global corporation with good people but low pay and there can be a lack of communication depending what department you work in.

Great place to work.
Senior Analyst (Current Employee) - Taguig City - June 1, 2022
Great planning before a month starts. Lots of training and opportunities for growth. Very nice culture. Salary is very competitive. My salary went from 280k per year to 480k in just 2 years. Annual increase and bonuses. Collaborative workplace. You wont be asked to cancel or work during your leaves. Direct communication with international counterpart/partners. It can be very stressful though during peak cycles (January and July).

Low pay raises
Senior Financial Analyst (Current Employee) - Chicago, IL - May 31, 2022
Great benefits. Company offers generous time-off. Must have the right connections to get ahead. Very minimal pay raises throughout my time there. Hard work is not appreciated.

Too many legacy people
SVP (Current Employee) - Chicago, IL - May 4, 2022
Too many legacy employees who have been there 30+ years and who have no new, original ideas anymore and cannot lead by example. Not very innovative, technology is atrocious. Management a bit out of touch.
Pros
Culture seems to be “employee” centric, but really depends on which mgr and LOB
Cons
Benefits, technology, innovation

Depends on your group
Manager (Current Employee) - Chicago, IL - March 30, 2022
I like my team, very supportive. Could be paid more somewhere else though. Flexibility is great and so is work/life balance but again, depends on the team you are on.

Who's in charge anyways?
Risk Analytics Manager (Former Employee) - Chicago, IL - March 16, 2022
Senior management has established separately managed business units who see no need to coordinate strategy or plans for technology and infrastructure. As a result, data and information is highly siloed and systems do not interconnect well. Revenue generating business units have ample budgets for technology and staff with a lot of redundancy but corporate functions are severely underfunded and under-resourced. Best to seek roles in the business units.

Good amount of trainings provided, a lot of work based skills can be acquired
Senior Analyst (Current Employee) - Bangalore, Karnataka - March 13, 2022
Overall a good company in terms of salary and incentives, but too much of work pressure and low work life balance , at the end you can use this as your advantage of pressure for future endeavours.
Pros
Good set of trainings
Cons
Long hours
