I work under a boss who treated his staff like his own child. In a good way.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Ordering stocks, replenish and expiry check. Training not really provided, you just shadow someone for a day or 2 and hope theyre friendly and teach you well. Being proficient in your mtl is important, a lot of older customers mainly communicate in their mtl and have trouble understanding english

Same duties as all supermarket you lucky encounter good coworkers or else just do your own work. Pay is normal. Need to ot if needed but work is not that stressful

Rewarding Job, Bonus is High, Toxic Enviroent

Pros: a good job with good bonus, but mgt must see properly who are likely deserving to be promotedCons: u r demanded to extend hrs, HQ execute plans and throw everything to stores without understanding how the staffs in stores working. Add more jobs on operations rather than helping the stores.

Horrible and Unethical Work Culture in the company

-Management does not relay proper SOPs to new staff. Does not bring you through the do's and don'ts. -Work culture is very toxic, they outcast you if you can't speak proper English, management staff is also taking part in isolating employees who are weaker instead of encouraging or stepping in to assist. -Not allowed to take NPL despite being a part time staff. -When other staff is on MC/Urgent Leave, management will demand you to step in. If you reject, things will not go smoothly as they purpose pick on you. Overall, horrible and worst experience as a part time staff.

You can have work life balanceSince 2023 AWS is paid as part of monthly salary. Bonus is paid in the month of April. Medical Benefit is very bad.Now FPG is moving very fast and hard to cope with all new changes.

Good part timer colleagues but aunties a bit toxic

Need to deal with many types of annoying customers. Part timer colleagues around the same age will most likely be the only sane people around. Some aunties who have been working with ntuc for over 10-20 years love to say how senior they are.

Fast Paced

Shift work can be at erratic timings and during holidays and peak period it can get very crowded and congested. Additionally, customers can be very rude but work is easy to pick up quickly
