Terrible workplace culture with next to zero budget for projects but expect unicorn achievements
People in this company are spoilt and always require spoon-feeding. Could not even raise an ITSM ticket themselves, have to resort to getting backend to do it for them. Terrible workplace culture, doesn't even have a budget for projects, expects miracle to happen. Team leads are always playing blame shifting and politicking away. HR department will will always send brainwashing emails or some "chicken soup for the soul" on every Friday to get you work even harder. For very obvious reason, they send the soup because meat has already been eaten by someone else.Learnt about the company core system, how it is being structured, how the information gets transmitted from, e.g, SGX to PFPL, and how PFPL co-integrate with DBS bank for payments, and also the ICE data feed where the price of all the instruments came. This company has no retrenchment nor retirement policy, so people does not need to worry being let go off (unless they seriously mess things up). That said, this is a high turn over rate company, so they have no need to let people go anyway. Past year turnover rate are around 30%. Don't be surprise that you could become the senior of your department within 1 year and manager in the third. Basic pay are terrible, people stayed on for bonus and iron rice bowl.

Productive and fun experience.
Very conducive place to work in, a company which provides job security and a local boss that appreciate its staff. Colleagues are mostly matured and experienced in their specific market.
